Hard Cookie, Bland Cookie.

Anonymous February 8, 2026

I love Pepperidge Farm cookies and I love raspberry anything, so I tried these. I was disappointed because they were very hard and the cookies themselves were bland and tasteless. Definitely not what I have come to expect from Pepperidge Farm all these years. Almost every cookie they make is flavorful, but this cookie, even raspberry couldn't save. The were not outdated, they were fresh according to the date on the package, but hard as a rock. I'll always continue buying Pepperidge Farm cookies, just not any more Linzers. Others may find no problem with the hardness, but they're not for me.

I was really disappointed with these cookies and expected better from Pepperidge Farm. The cookies themselves shattered to pieces when I took one bite, and the filling didn't taste or look like a jam filling at all but instead was some sort of disk or wafer that was overly sweet and strongly artificially flavored. I'm glad I tasted these before I gave them to someone, as the special wrapping implied was their purpose.

Truly awful!

Whatever November 7, 2025

I'm so addicted to the Zurich sugar cookies, which I can never find. The Verona ones are good too in a pinch. I love raspberry, but these cookies are truly awful. The cookie part is like 2 pieces of drywall and the raspberry filling is sickly sweet and tastes almost like rotten fruit. Totally disappointed! Bring back the Zurich sugar cookies with Christmas sprinkles.

Pepperidge Farm could've had a winner with this cookie, but really missed the boat. The raspberry filling is overly sweet. The “cookie“ shell for the filling is as tasteless as a salt less cracker. It's a dreadful combination. I learned to make Linzer cookies from a Hungarian Baker and Pepperidge Farm's effort would be judged last in any Bake-Off.

awful, save your money

Michelle November 18, 2025

If I could give these cookies a minus I would. They are hard like crackers, no powder sugar, and taste awful. I waste of almost $5. Very very unhappy. Don't waste your money.
