I love the Pepperidge Farms cookies. My new favorite is the Lemon ones. I also like the cherry thumbprint cookies. I decided to order more of the cherry ones, but they were out. It's usually hit or miss with Walmart. It seems someone writes down what I buy %26 when I like a product, it usually disappears permanently!?!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My all-time favorite cookie is a butter shortbread and you can only imagine how thrilled I was to come across these! I have seen the strawberry & the raspberry ones before but not with the cherry filling. These have a great cherry flavor thats not bitter, artificial tasting or overpowering. Really fell in love with these and hope I can find them locally :) Yummy!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love Pepperidge Farm Cherry Verona cookies. These things have been around for years and years, and I have always eaten them. I love the crumbly butter cookie with the cherry jelly in the middle, making a sweet and tart contrast that cannot be beat! If I'm not careful I'll eat the entire bag in one sitting! My favorite way to eat them is with coffee or tea, because come on. That's how they were meant to be enjoyed! At least for me! Lol! OK I'm off to eat another bag!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the package with the Pepperidge Farm Verona Cherry Thumbprint Cookies, 6.75 Oz Bag and i love them tastes great and i will be buying some more from the store and showing and telling people about the product so they can go and buy and try out the taste
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not what I expected, but these cookies are quite good! The fruit part is just a thin film of jelly that adds a pleasant touch of flavor, not overwhelming the cookie at all. The cookie part is crunchy, and the fruit complements it very well without taking over the taste. I honestly couldn't pick out the cherry flavor more than "sweet red berry", which was kind of a relief because it's hard to get that cherry flavor just right. The taste ends up being very genuine and natural. All-in-all, these fit in well with the Pepperidge Farm cities-themed cookies: delicate, understated, and delicious without being addicting. I'd call these: "inspired by thumbprint cookies and expertly delivered in that distinctive Pepperidge Farm way". Definitely a must try.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These cookies are the first time I have tried them and they met my expectations, their cherry flavor is felt in the first bite, the soft cookie with a slight butter flavor is a perfect combination. I loved them as soon as I tried them.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love homemade thumbprint cookies so I was very excited to try the Pepperidge Farm Verona Cherry Thumbprint cookies. I will say that on first impression, the cookies are very nice looking and of good quality. I took a bite and immediately loved the cookie taste. As I began chewing, I realized that the cherry center had a strange consistency. It reminded me of trying to chew a gummy bear. I had to chew more than usual to get it where I felt comfortable swallowing it down. The taste is wonderful, but I am not loving the consistency of the cherry middle. If the consistency was improved to be less chewy or gummy, I would give this all thumbs up!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you like butter cookies and cherries, you should love these! They have a crunchy, buttery taste with just a hint of cherry. Great for dipping in coffee or they also look pretty on charcuterie spreads.
Not at all like fresh baked! Wish they sold them in a dozen from bakery not in variety pack.
The cookies were past the “sell by” date. Sold at a higher than retail price.
