Peppermint Nutcracker with Music and LED Illumination, 72 in, 6 ft, by Holiday Time

I saw other reviews about the paint job, so I was a little wary and hoped the one I got wasn't horrible. After opening the box, I inspected each piece, and everything looks good. it was easy to assemble and move. I didn't realize it plays music, so when I plugged it in, it scared me and my kid to high heaven. It's pretty loud. the neighbors heard it down the street (it's on my porch). The nice thing is you can choose just to have the lights flash sans the music. I am very satisfied with this nutcracker.

Awesome product for price! I've read other reviews that his parts were hard to line up, that the paint was all chipped and just overall quality was bad. I DIDNT see this. There's a small area where the paint could be touched up but overall great buy and easy assembly! Merry Christmas

The product is very overpriced being that it's plastic and the paint job is horrific. But I knew that going in! They are overpriced because of supply and demand and the demand is huge so Walmart is price gouging us of course. But if you want one that's what you're going to pay! Wasn't a surprise to me and it is being repainted because I knew they came out of the box with a very poor paint job

For as popular as these are they're not that great. Paint is terrible, in particular the white paint. Its a different finish, texture, and looks as if it was (very badly) hand painted. From what I've read online this seems to be a common issue. There is also a weird clump of material on one of his shoulders. You can choose between lights %26 music, or lights only which is nice. However I am still left wanting more from it. When its outside it gets lost in the dark. Also, by now Walmart knows how popular these are, why are they not ordering accordingly?! Seems silly %26 like missing out on money.

Better to repaint and dress up yourself! Walmart just make him all white like the other one. Primed and repainted he will be a treasure!! Original paint job was so-so to poor at best. Overall check in store vs buying online. Returned 1 as damaged/broken straight out of the box.

Disappointing quality. The paint is really sloppy. Don't know how long the music will work either, as it already is not turning on at times. It is good for the price for an outdoor piece (although how the paint would fade- who knows!), but I expected better up close so I will be returning since I wanted it for indoor. Also it is difficult to click the pieces together; I never fully clicked it in place because I was afraid of getting it “unclicked” and knew I would be returning.

the nutcracker is super adorable and will look phenomenal on our front porch for Christmas time however was very disappointed how damaged one of them was when we received it lots of paint chips and lots of poor painting on the product itself we ended up returning one and that was the one we returned had I known the product had that much damage I probably would not have spent the price I did

Not sure who's fault, FedEx (box was VERY damaged) or manufacturer, but Nutcracker came damaged. Some lights didn't work, and paint scraped/missing on his hat. I emailed the manufacturer, so I'm hoping they will respond and make it right. I wanted to LOVE him, but very disappointed. I have had the classic one for 4 years and he's held up great! No issues, so I'm disappointed in opening this box to see him damaged right away.

Item arrived damaged. I returned the item. MONTHS later I am still waiting for a refund and being given the run around by Walmart on the refund. I will keep my purchases to Amazon, never again!

I got two of the peppermint ones. First of all Holiday Time needs to use better, thicker, more firm cardboard- both boxes heavily damaged when they arrived. Paint is very sloppy and will need correcting. One is 2 inches shorter than the other one! It's so noticeable. One has really thin flexible plastic as the body. One has really hard blow mold plastic. The one with the soft plastic rocks easily and the one that is firm doesn't. I'm so disappointed.
