In my opinion, this is the best laxative on the market. Some of us have to rely on laxatives daily, and it can be difficult to find the right one. No one wants a harsh laxative, and if you need it daily or often, a strong harsh laxative is the worst thing you can do to your bowel. You need a laxative that works but doesn't damage your bowel or colon over time. After years of trial and error, I found Perdiem, and that was more than 20 years ago. I'm still buying them so that should say it all. I will add this, senna is the best laxative because it's a vegetable laxative rather than chemical. One of the popular brands is "Senokot" and it's probably one of the most expensive too. Each Senokot tablet is 8.5 mg, so most people need to take two. And they are plain tablets, no coating. Each Perdieim tablet is 15 mg and is coated, making it easier to swallow. Each person is different but most only need one Perdiem a night. Depending on your situation, even if you require two in the beginning, most will only need one a day once they get regulated and on a schedule. Hope this helps someone!

Thanks to Walmart, I'm still able to get this product, at least for the time being. Perdiem has been on-again-off-again available, I guess for manufacturing reasons. But, for some reason, for which I'm grateful, Walmart has continued to stock it when it is available. Price can vary dramatically depending on the source, but Walmart's current online price is a great value.
