Amazing!! Ok so LISTEN UP! I raised my own organic meat birds about a couple years ago. If you ever raised your own birds you know nothing tastes so good. Do to a change in my circumstances I had to stop. I purchased this chicken and was amazed!! No antibiotics it cooks like it should and smells like it should. If you processed your own chicken before you know what I mean. I highly recommend this!

My top selection chicken fresh free range chicken.

ReviewsByPAMELA May 18, 2026

I pick this chicken brand, Perdue Harvestland Free Range breast tenderloins over others in fresh -or fresh frozen if it's available. Cooks up nicely and isn't prone to being stringy- or stocked as too old typically. Less fatty inclusions and good size pieces by comparison to other brands offered in Walmart. Recommend.

WalMart's best quality chicken, Harvestland

Jali July 7, 2026

I'm not big on boneless, skinless breast meat; it tends to be dry. All the flavor because the flavor gets removed with the skin and bone. However, Harvestland Chicken breast and tenders are great when tenderized with a bit of baking soda, then rinsed well before gently poaching in chicken broth/whatever for flavor. Or marinate them for flavor. Then I cut them up for chicken salad. For almost all other chicken dishes I use Harvestland thighs. Oh, and these are real chicken tenderloins, not breasts cut into tenderloin-like portions. It matters.

Flavorful and versatile!

Molly July 16, 2026

The quality and taste of these chicken strips make them such an easy addition to any meal. Breaded and air-fried, grilled, oven-baked. They are very versatile. Hearty portions, too. Easily added to salads, shredded for sandwiches or soups. Love these.

The thing I like best about Perdue chicken is they don't use antibiotics in their chickens. I like chickens especially f when they are raised as free range chickens partly because my grandmother's chickens were always free range. As a child growing up ,we had to search out new nests sometimes when we gathered the fresh eggs. we candled them ourselves to make sure they weren't fertilized. I sure had fun those days. I loved my country grandma.

Only supplier I will buy from going forward

Linda June 18, 2026

I bought 2 of these to make fried chicken for my family. I marinated in buttermilk before seasoning then a dredge in egg yolks and flour. They didn't take long to cook and were so moist and delicious! They were devoured by my family! II felt good serving them given the packaging. I am allergic to a wide variety of antibiotics and knowing they have healthy chickens is a big deal to me. Free range means they have treated their chickens well too instead of caging them.a I switched a while back to free range eggs and you can tell a difference in the egg yolks. It is worth the extra $ for the quality.

Tender, clean-tasting tenderloins for quick meals

TheToddlerTestedMom May 17, 2026

bought the Perdue Harvestland Free Range Chicken Breast Tenderloin Pieces, 0.9 lb tray for $6.94 from Walmart. The pack had about 8 tenderloins, uniform in size, pale pink, well-trimmed with minimal fat and no strong odor on opening. Very little purge in the tray. I cooked half pan-seared with olive oil, salt, pepper and paprika, 3-4 minutes per side. The rest went in the air fryer at 380F for 9 minutes. Both methods stayed juicy. Tenderloins are naturally more tender than full breasts, and these were not stringy or rubbery. Taste is clean and mild. The free range / no antibiotics ever positioning matters to me, and the All Vegetarian Diet and US raised claims are a plus. Pros: • Consistent size cooks evenly, perfect for kid portions and meal prep • No Antibiotics Ever, Free Range, No Animal By-Products • Quick cook time, stays tender Cons: • Price per lb is higher than family pack breasts • One- three pieces had small tendons that needed trimming •To trim tendons quickly, utilize a regular fork, grab the tip of the don and place it between the fork blades and pull straight out. Best way especially when you don't have much cookware tools. Value: Good for convenience and quality. I will repurchase for stir-fry, wraps and salads.

It may be chicken , but it's not tender.

James May 27, 2026

Nothing tender about this chicken. Iv'e purchased this several times in Illinois and have been mostly satisfied , now in Arkansas for the 2nd time this chicken has been a disappointment. Out of the 8 tenders only 3 were fresh and edible , the other 5 were tough and chewy. I don't think I'm giving this little chicky another chance.

Why would you pick this one?

Trel June 18, 2025

I ordered via Walmart delivery service on June 13th. When I received my order, the chicken that was picked by the shopper was dated to sell by June 12th. It is currently June 17th and I just noticed. My question is why would this still be on the shelves and why would this shopper pick this package out of all the other available ones? Ridiculous.

Never accept substitutions

Elby August 12, 2025

Terrible quality. I requested chicken breast and received this item as a replacement due to a lack of availability. Tenders all had ligaments and were not properly cleaned.
