PERDUE Oven Ready Whole Seasoned Roaster, 6 lbs

I absolutely love this chicken. It is the most tender chicken I've ever eaten. I truly mean it. The seasoning is delicious. I serve it whole or I use it to make chicken salad. Either way, it's the best.

This oven roaster is perfect for using for dumplins. I can not find one at any store in a 5 mile radius. I make dumplins almost every month. Fryer chickens do not have enough fat on them. I do not like to use broth. PLEASE tell me where I can find a store that carries them all year and not just during Thanksgiving and Christmas

This was one of the juiciest chickens I've ever made, with little to no effort. When I purchased the Perdue Roaster in a bag, I had no idea that it would be so simple to prepare and make. It was quick and tasty. The only change I made was add 2 sliced lemons which I inserted into the cavity. The juiciest!

This was the best roaster chicken I have had in my entire life. The white meat was not dry, so moist it just fell apart in my mouth! Even when chicken was put away in fridge. It never dried out. Thank you! Please don't stop making this!

Made this for Easter today. So pleased. Easy directions & it cooked itself. NO mess. It was Delicious! And the chicken was so big - there is enough for another whole meal. I am very pleased & will definitely buy it again. I let the whole thing rest over 1/2 hour since I was busy. The gravy was easy to make & fantastic ! Before I unbagged the chicken into the baking dish, I cut the tip off the corner of the bag & tilt-poured all the drippings into a large measuring cup in the sink. That made it easy to make the gravy in a sauce pan. A very good value. A Lot of good tasting food.

The product is great. Love the simplicity and easy to cook meal. They are delicious. Only complaint is they've been out of stores everywhere for weeks and no one seems to know why.

Bought for quick meal for last minute unexpected guests. Just prior to cooking I wanted to check the expiration date. I finally found it on th bottom of th outer bag. It is stamped on and totally illegible. It is just series of black dots. Cooking now. Didn't smell unusual when I cut the slit in the bag so hopefully someone in ShopRite is looking at the expiration dates when they put them out for sale. VERY DISAPPOINTED IN PERDUE.

Don't know what they are putting in this bird? Bought this when they had no oven stuffer roasters. Hoped the ‘shortcut' meant no giblets and tied only. When I saw it was in a bag, I removed it. Had previously cooked a bird in a bag and thought it was awful, like boiled chicken. Although it was roasted and basted, this bird had a rubbery texture, like it was injected with something. Wouldn't buy again.

I thought this would be an easy meal. The chicken didn't smell too great when I made the slit, I figured it was the seasoning and put it in the oven and let it cook for 2 hrs and 20 min. I pulled it out, the core temp was 180. The texture of the chicken was terrible. The color was incredibly off, more reddish pink than anything. I didn't taste it, but I will not recommend this product. It was not set to expire until November 14th.

I bought this and it literally boiled in a bag. This really is so gross! If you want crispy skin DO NOT get this! What a waste of money. I should've just gotten the regular roaster.
