Does it " Measure...up"? I'm kidding, it does.
This little gadget here measures outside thickness and inside diameters. Case closed. It's a handy device for mechanics and fine woodworkers alike. Ok, it's not an electronic one with a screen and a backlight but....if you need a measuring tool you can afford to lose or break in half...this is your tool of choice! You can measure bolt heads and veneer thickness. You can measure inside fuel line hoses. The gauge is visible and it slides easily. I've used many over the years and this one is very handy. Hope I don't lose this one but if I do...I got a place to get another one without going broke.

it works well and it is an easy to read caliper
It will do the job! I needed a cheap caliper; this was indeed cheap! It is made of plastic, and it is very light, but it doesn't need to be heavy.

Lightweight, easy to use caliper.
I prefer this plastic caliper over metal or digital calipers for its ease of use for doing quick and easy measurements that are sufficient for my needs. It is much lighter in weight and very easy to read and understand, both in U.S. and metric units. Love it!

The quintessential budget caliper for most applications not requiring thousandths tolerances. I leave several laying around my desk and shop areas.

plastic calipers
This is a plastic tool and behaves as such. Is it accurate? Depends. Its accurate enough for measuring items that doesn't require precision to micrometers. As long as it stays together there isn't anything to tear up. Works for me!

Doesn't measure accurately, it's about 5mm off. It's also super flimsy
