Performance Tool W85040 Heavy-Duty 2-Step Folding Step Ladder

I'm extremely impressed with the Performance Tool W85040 Heavy Duty 2-Step Folding Ladder. Right out of the box, it feels solid and well-built, easily supporting weight without any wobble or flex. The 300 lb capacity gives real confidence when stepping up, and it feels much more secure than cheaper step stools I've used in the past. The slip-resistant treads are a standout feature—they provide excellent grip, even when wearing socks or working quickly. Safety is clearly a priority with this design, and it shows. The steps are also wide enough to feel comfortable and stable, which makes a big difference when you're reaching for something just out of arm's reach. Another huge plus is how compact it is. When folded, it stores away easily in a closet or against a wall without taking up much space at all. It's lightweight enough to carry around the house but still sturdy enough to handle regular, heavy-duty use. Whether it's for reaching high shelves, changing light bulbs, or quick household tasks, this ladder has become something I use almost daily. It's reliable, practical, and built to last—definitely a five-star product in my book.

I've been using this heavy-duty 2-step ladder, and it's been a great addition to my garage and home projects. Rated for 300 lbs, it feels incredibly solid underfoot—no wobble, no creaking, just pure stability. It folds up easily for storage but opens into a sturdy, reliable platform. For anyone needing a compact, heavy-duty ladder that actually feels safe, this one's a winner.

Wide solid surface to stand on. Perfect height for my 8 foot ceilings to be able to change bulbs and to access the upper parts of kitchen cabinets without having to pull out the 6 foot aluminum ladder. Folds flat and easy to hang on hooks in the garage.

This step stool is sturdy yet not too heavy to carry around to set up where you would like. It gives me enough height to see above my refrigerator. It's a little bulky for finding a good spot to store it. Good for what it's made for.

Excellent quality stool! Firm %26 sturdy! Folds up good %26 even has a carrying handle for your convenience! Will buy more for sure! Great for using in my kitchen to reach the top shelf of my pantry!

This step ladder is super sturdy standing on it. The platform is wide abs the usefulness is unlimited. I am soo impressed with the heavy material and love the handle.

Excellent little step ladder. So easy to use. Takes up minimal space. Locks in place nicely. And stores standing up instead of needing to lean against a wall. Nice quality.

Arrived damaged. Unable to use the top step. No damage to the shipping box anywhere, so I believe it was shipped broken.
