It comes with the boards so that you follow the picture and know where to place the bead. It's so fun my kids where making all of them. It kept them entertained for a couple hours.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids love Perler beads! We have multiple sets and patterns. They follow patterns sometimes and make there own creations too. My daughter is a huge nature lover, so this set is a winner. I love the large hexagon shape too. Most of our large plates are square, but some things work better on a hexagon configuration. The beads don't stay separated for long here, but we love adding more colors to our big bucket of beads too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids LOVE these bead kits. The woodland critters kit is super fun. It comes with two boards and a ton of templates. Some are large and some are small, which is awesome. The kids play with these for hours. I couldn't be happier!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this Perler bead set! It keeps my 8 year old entertained for hours and that's hard to do! The set comes with one extra large hexagon peg board, one small square pegboard, ironing paper, 4000 beads and a pattern sheet with instructions. The instructions are super clear and easy to follow as well as the patterns provided. I really like the amount of beads you get in this set. She was able to create almost all the woodland creatures and then had enough left over for creating different color ways of some animals. We lost the ironing paper so I used parchment paper and that worked just fine. Ironing the perler beads was simple and fast, just be sure not to press down too long. We melted part of the pegboards because I pressed down too long so we'll be ordering more. I will definitely be getting more perler themed sets like this! It has kept my daughter entertained and all I have to do is take a few minutes to iron the beads, it's a win win!

It includes 4004 beads and two pegboards to complete over 15 individual animals. A fox, squirrel , raccoon, and porcupine are just a few of the animals to choose. I would highly recommend .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought my little guy would like this doing a fused bead craft but I was blown away that he loved it as much as he did! He's 8 years old and he's not too into arts and craft but once he started using his imagination he created some of the best creations! He's big into video games so while I think the Woodland creatures are adorable, he wanted to make things like Sonic the Hedgehog. LoL I let him make whatever he wanted and he has spent many hours making different things. This was my first experience with Perler and it did not disappoint! There are plenty of beads, like a lot! Such a variety of colors too! I liked that his little hands got some practice picking up the small beads but he handled it no problem! I did the ironing and I was happy with the time it took for the beads to fuse and how evenly they melted. This was our first Perler kit but definitely won't be out last, we loved it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 6 and 7 year olds enjoyed making these creatures, though they sometimes turned out a little different than the photos. Their little fingers had no problems working with the beads, while I needed tweezers. The only improvement would be if each animal had its own color coded peg board so they didn't have to work off a pattern sheet. Perfect for craft days.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's very good for an older kid with small hands, I tried doing but the only bad thing is if you have big hands it's hard to put each piece in the pegboard. Other than that it's good pass time for kids.
