Permafresh Bed Bug and Dust Mite Control Water-Resistant Polypropylene Complete Bed Protector Set

I purchased this set after shopping around and found this was a great value, dollar wise; four pieces for $30 (full size). Others were $30/$40 for just one piece. I thought I may've had bed bugs and purchased new mattresses. So I wanted to be proactive on protecting the new mattresses. They are a good fit, with only a little extra room. Not as huge as other reviews mentioned. The little bit of extra space is probably to accommodate where some mattresses may be thicker (pillow tops for example). I will say you need a person to help you put it on, because holding up a mattress and putting this on by yourself can be very difficult and can cause you to rip the material. You have to be delicate and put them on as if you're dressing a baby; starting at the top then slowly pulling it down. Overall a great value for the dollar and what it does!

I bought these for my father who had a tenant that brought bed bugs with him. After treating the residence we were still very uncomfortable putting the beds back into the residence without some protection. I bought a king size and a full size. The only issue that I can see is that with king size beds they have two full/double sized box springs and not one large box spring, so you have to lift and pull and lift and pull and try not to do any damage to the product. We had three people which helped, but still when working with a king size bed, maybe two separate box spring protectors would be better even if it cost a little bit more. Would have been more manageable. However, with all of that said, they went on easy and with a pillow-top mattress it was nice to have a protector that fit perfectly without being pulled overly tight or too loose. Was very pleased with the product. Will write another review if the product does not work...

I was leery of this product after reading some reviews about how easily the material tears. I was holding my breath when we started putting it on the mattress, and was relieved at how easy it went on! The zipper opens up on three of the four sides, and there was more than enough wiggle room that we weren't in danger of tearing anything. Same with the box spring protector. It helped to have another person just so we could flip the mattress on its side to put the protector on and then set it back down so we could zip it up. I would recommend this product! It's a good price- I was searching a lot for bed bug protectors and seeing as this includes one for the mattress, box spring and 2 pillow cases, it is a good value.

I was a little skeptical on this item bc of the past reviews saying it easily tore. My roommates and I managed to put on the covers and not tear it. I really dont see how you would unless you were EXTREMELY harsh with it. It was definitely a great buy!!

I found this complete protector set to be the best value, and goes on like a breeze. I would recommend this to anyone who needs to protector there mattress.

I am surprised at the high quality of the material used. My sister-in-law has something similar, but it is made of vinyl and can be very uncomfortable on warm nights.

I love this product - it works as designed and is a good value for the money. The only things I would have liked was the mattress and box-spring covers be marked as such do you do not accidentally put on the wrong cover on the wrong piece. The most important complaint about the product isn't with the product itself...it was the shipping so I didn't reflect my scores above based on shipping. The product was dropped in front of my door in the hallway of my apartment complex. The man knocked once and left. Didn't wait until I opened the door to ensure I received it. Had I not been home, I would have lost this product.

Purchased this as a bedbug preventative after tenants in our apartment found some. The set works well and fits fine, but you have to be super careful when getting the covers on. Our box spring cover ripped while we were trying to zip it. The easiest way (at least for us) was to stand the mattress up and gently pull the cover over the mattress. Then, two people gently set the mattress down into place while taking care to make sure the bottom of the cover does not get caught underneath and then zip it carefully. Now that it is on, there have been no issues or rips...you just really have to watch putting it on.

While this seemed like a wonderful value, I learned otherwise. We were recently overwhelmed by bed bugs. I ordered this in hopes to start eliminating the problem. An exterminator came to my home to inspect & spray for the bugs. He informed me that there were small holes on the underside of the box springs cover, allowing them to still escape. That's not a good thing! To their credit, I am receiving a new set at to charge. Hopefully this one will be better.

This product is horrible!! I should have listened to past reviews how this tears so easily. Not good...DON'T WASTE MONEY!!!!
