Permatex Muffler Weld® Exhaust System Repair

had a code for a leak , searched in the engine for cracked hoses and found nothing. ended up under the truck looking while the truck was running and noticed smoke from the muffler, bought this muffler weld and used a heatgun to dry and harden, drove for about 20 mins and code went away , never came back. stuff works really well.

Arrived quickly, very easy to apply. Saved me hundreds, if not more. It's been a week and it's holding up great so far. It's more of a pudding like consistency, but very easy to apply. And it washed off the sleeve of my jacket without leaving a stain. My issue wasn't a true hole to patch, but rather the seam was rusting.

This is easy to use and very useful!

35' outside put on let set overnight started up quiet

So for it's working to plug holes in muffler. Run for 3 hrs.

Used this to plug the superficial hole in my muffler before the winter... if left open to the winter salt, there wouldn't be much left of the muffler next spring. Cheaper than buying a new muffler, right? Easy to apply, but we'll see if it holds up.

Don't' know how to comment. Good product, but this particular order was delivered almost completely cured. Had to work to recover enough of the product for the repair I was doing (less than half).
