Perrier-Jouet Belle Epoque Brut Champagne, 750 ml Bottle, 12.5% ABV

Almost 41yrs ago in December 11th I drank a bottle of this champagne as my mother recuperating from a surgery called many of her family to express that she was home and looking forward to Christmas. While watching NFL, I enjoyed the bottle as I made sure that all my mother's desire were met for her complete satisfaction. Little did I know that two days later my mother died due to following her sergeant's directions for best recovery. Needless, to say I always celebrate my mother's death anniversary with my wife drinking at least one bottle of Perrier Jouet.

We just enjoyed a bottle of Perrier Jouet Belle Epoque in celebration of my wife, Robin, birthday, but as we have done since she was 2 weeks old, we took a photo of our Granddaughter, Em, with a bottle of Champagne and in celebration of her 15th birthday, we chose this very special Champagne and these had to be the most special photos ever. I think the Champagne had something to do with it! She, of course, must wait a few more years before she can understand how great this Champagne is!

This is always been the champagne of choice with my family. Always remember seeing bottles of it on the table during holidays back in the '50s at my grandparents. Have been enjoying it ever since. whenever someone tries it that is not familiar with it they immediately ask what it is. Truly the finest champagne out there

I've aaalways loved this champagne. Smooth, not too sweet just perfect for pairing with red meats, fowl , venison, fish …. Just super .

Stunning presentation, it makes for a great gift or when hosting loved ones at home. It brings people together for celebrations and it's gorgeous packaging makes it so special as it is very delicate and thoughtfully designed. The taste is fresh and light, definitely on the softer side, which I appreciate. It is always a great time to have around with loved ones.

This is my favorite, above all other brands, including DP. Excellent value.

It was okay. Nothing to write home about. I drank it and thought ok this is alright but I don't need to go and buy it again. If someone offered me a drink I would take it.

I bought this 1998 bottle when my son was born 18 years ago. I've cellared it underground for 18 years and opened it tonight for his birthday present and it was corked! So disappointing…
