Perry Mason: 50th Anniversary Edition (DVD)

Okay these aren't the greatest episodes to choose for a set, but they've got big names to appeal to non-Perry Mason fans and that's okay, but what is the BEST is Barbara Hale's introductions. She is still absolutely gorgeous at 86 years young and her interactions with Art Marks is a lot of fun as well. It's too bad they hadn't decided to interview Richard Anderson, Bill Katt, or Bill Moses as well, but Barbara is an absolute gem.

I remember watching this as a kid. brings back memories long lost. I enjoyed watching these again.

It was fun to see the various guest stars, some before they were known. I used to enjoy the series when it first ran and it holds up well. The introductions by Barbara Hale gave a glimpse into what occurred behind the scenes.

Everything I was looking forward to - I watch it every day and smile (even though I know the ending) it was a wonderful show and it's just a wonderful dvd set. I Am EXTRA Happy.

I bought this for my parents and they just loved it! I've been buying them all of the Perry Masons that come out on DVD. They were excited to see this one. The price was a bit high but they really wanted it so I bought it. They have been watching it pretty much every night since they got it. All in all, it's really great DVD!

We have not had time to look at all the series yet, but the ones we have seen were excellent--typical Perry. Love it!!!

Enjoying this product and the price was right

I ordered a copy of this dvd set for my mom and I. Was well worth it, but the fourth dvd in the set has some air bubbles in the center of it (the plastic ring, and not the dvd itself). It works ok, but I'm a little disappointed by it (that's why the meets expectations score is only a 3). As for the set itself, I've seen the extras and they were worth it... wished they would have included the full Raymond Burr/Charlie Rose interviews and had another movie or episode instead of the interview with the CBS exec, which kind of seemed a little bit out of left field. Loved the Barbara Hale interview, it was well worth the watch and I'm in the middle of watching Perry Mason Returns. Am planning on getting the movies when I can. Loved them back when they aired and I look forward to watching them again.

Love the old Perry Mason TV shows but thought since the photo showed Perry in color thought maybe the shows were color. Otherwise great!
