I have been battling dermatitis on the back of my scalp and tried every kind of medicated shampoo, but the chronic itching was so bad that, yes, I was willing to put "tar" on my head if it would work to stop the itch. I shampooed with it 3 times a week for 3 weeks, there was slight improvement but the itching never stopped. This shampoo might work for a different condition, but it didn't work well enough to continue using it. BTW, this is TAR shampoo, so understand that if you use it, your hair will smell like a freshly asphalted road.
