This ice maker so far so good! You can get ice in minutes from the point you fill it and hit start and just toss the ice in the freezer when the basket gets full and keep making ice at an alarming rate! Easy to keep clean! Try flavored ice to mix up your drinks a notch!
We've had this ice maker for a few weeks now and we looooove it!! It starts making the ice fast! I just wish the melted ice would recycle back into it but it doesn't BUT it doesn't take long to pour the melted water back into the machine so it's all good!
Ok so ive used it 2x's and so far I AM IN LOVE!! I let it sit 24 hrs like it said, cleaned it like it said and have made a lot of ice! perfect! The only thing i would recommend tmo the company is to make any melted ice recycle like my bullet one. It keeps the ice cole enough (it is NOT a freezer it wont keep the ice frozen) till i get it in a zip loc bag. When you put the ice in the freezer let it sit 10 min or so then break it up some it works great! Will update as time goes on!
I love the gray-style design of the outlooking. The cooling speed is so fast! I am a guy who loves doing sports, so this machine definitely will save my life for my coming summer training. The machine made in China is always trustable. By the way, the shipping speed is fast, and the packaging is perfect!
The Personal Chiller Portable Countertop Ice Maker is a machine designed for making soft nugget ice, which is a favorite of many people for its chewable texture and ability to absorb flavors. This ice maker is portable and can be placed on your kitchen countertop or taken with you to a party or camping trip. The machine can make up to 26 pounds of ice per day, which is more than enough for most households. It's easy to use, and it only takes about 7 minutes to produce a batch of ice. The ice maker also has a built-in water reservoir, so you don't need to connect it to a water source. Overall, if you're a fan of soft nugget ice and want to have it at home, the Personal Chiller Portable Countertop Ice Maker is worth considering.
Since I received my personal chiller soft nugget ice maker I’ve been drinking everything with ice. I really like how easy the machine is to use, it makes enough ice for me and my family in one batch. My favorite drink to add to my ice is pop or on its own to snack on. Also I recommend purchasing this if you have enough counter space as it does take up space in your kitchen. Overall it’s a cool appliance to have for someone who loves chewing soft crunchy ice lol
Overall, I like this ice maker. It makes "Sonic type ice," which my wife loves; it makes plenty, and it makes ice much quicker than the "bullet type" ice maker it replaces. I do wish it had been designed so that the water from melting is drained off, or recycled. I use a strainer when dumping excess ice to keep it for later use (I put it into the ice dispenser on our refrigerator; no crushing needed), and then recycle the drained off water back to the ice maker. Filling the water reservoir is rather awkward. It would be better if it didn't require inserting the funnel into the access hole. A filler access door, like most coffee pots have, would be more convenient. And the ice scoop and filler funnel seem to be made rather cheaply. The ice bucket is nice and big; it holds up to 4 lbs of ice, according to the manual, but I haven't checked that out yet. And the ice bucket fits VERY TIGHTLY into its spot. There is no reference to this in the manual, so I made a slight adjustment to it, and it's better. It's just tight enough now to keep the little switch pressed in. And, lastly, I think, the hose for draining the reservoir needs something other than the little stopper that shuts it off. If it only had a tether to the hose, it would be improved. That little sucker fits snugly into the hose and can get lost if you aren't careful. So, I only gave it four stars, because, even with the improvements that could be made, it still is a mighty little ice machine, with impressive performance thus far.
bought abour a month ago and already broke. ait will not stay on long enough to make a full batch of ice. I followed all the directions before starting it the first time and have cleaned it weekly like it suggested. The power outlet is fine, the cord is fine, the macine turns on, but wont stay on after only making a 1/4 cup of ice 😠. Also not a fan of it not recycling the water by itself, you have empty the melted ice water back into it yourself.
Oh, goodness me I should've read the reviews. I wanted to love it, I did. I'm super bummed out for what my husband and I paid for this and now we're pretty much stuck with it because we don't want to deal with the hassle of returning it. It takes so long to make ice and when it does every couple minutes it's just a few pieces here and there. By the time there's even a good enough amount it's sitting in so much water it isn't even worth it to freeze. Save yourself the time an money and go with a different nugget maker. I'm kicking myself for not reading the reviews. I can see why it was half off the original price.
I bought this because it was soft ice nuggets like Sonic and its self-cleaning features. I wish it recycles the water that melts but it does not. Since its "soft nuggets they melt fast. I received this and the screws on the back weren't screwed in all the way. I figured someone messed up, so I screwed them in. Started it used it for 2 weeks. The last week every morning water would be in the floor in front of it. We shut it off every night. I took it back we just replaced our floors and flooring! Do not buy this I should have returned it when I opened it...
