Pet Champion 16' Plastic, Metal & Polyester Retractable Dog Leash, Black

This retractable leash is so useful for letting your dog wander while on a walk and to not always have to stop while he sniffs and explores. Plus, if you need him close to you, you just pull him back in. The leash extends out to 16 feet which is quite a ways out! The package says it's good for up to 40 pounds but our dog is quite a bit larger. I guess it just depends on how much your dog pulls.

The Pet Champion Retractable Leash is great for small dogs. I like the ability to set the leash at a certain length if I need to. It also gives my dog the freedom to travel ahead of me so we don't get tangled up. The width of the cord is not very big, but it's a tough nylon and seems to work as well as others. I'm not sure this would work on medium or large dogs. I had a hard enough time using it with my oversized Frenchie. My only other caveat would be that there's no place to attach disposable bags for clean up.

This retractable leash is larger than what we currently and normally use for our six pound dog. However it worked great. No issues to advise of. Fit with her harness with zero issue. The size was perfect for adult hands. This leash is great -- I'd absolutely recommend for your pet walking needs.

This is an awesome leash for puppies. Once they get stronger and pull more, it is likely to break. We went through 3 of these before moving to a more heavy duty one cause I loved this one so much. It's a good value for the money but not for strong dogs .

I took forever to get here even though they said it would be here the next day. when it did arrive it was in a nice package in the package look nice on the outside but inside the little box that goes around it was all crashed. the side of it is all scruffed up it looks used not new even though I did cut it out of the box. it seems to be functioning fine I pulled it all the way out and stuff so I'm going to keep it but I'm not happy.

For the money the leash works fine. However, if you don’t want the leash to retract, you have to hold the button in. For city walking it’s an inconvenience constantly pressing down the button.

Compared to the leash it replaced it is an inferior product. The leash itself is about 40% the width of my previous leash. There is NOT a locking mechanism on the push button. I can't imagine wanting to hold the leash's button for an extended period of time if I wanted a short leash. Truly disappointed by this purchase.

I purchased this about a month ago for my 4lb Chorkie, I was absolutely beside myself today when I had her outside for a walk, I noticed the leash part was all frayed. I'm so upset right now, my dog is 4lbs!!! I could have lost her because of the shotty quality. I do not recommend this product to anyone for whatever your pet is...I'm absolutely disgusted and will be returning this to the store asap!!!!

Retractable feature broke on the 3rd day! The leash will not come out or retract into the handle. The material of the leash is too flimsy and if it folds on itself or gets twisted, the spring is not strong enough to retract. Piece of garbage. A negative 10 on the rating.

The ribbon is too thin and not wide enough and twisted up something awful. I will be returning this and will not order it again because of that for one reason. The second reason , the handle was real slick and hard to hold onto when the dog pulled couldn’t get a grip on it.
