It is quite hard, but I have an avid chewer so it is good. It is a great toy and my dog loves it. It is quite heavy in weight, so do not drop on your toes.
It was smaller than thought would be for large but my puppy loves it. He chews all time and its very durable. The smaller size makes it easy for him to carry around.
Claims to be indestructible, but includes a soft center that is quickly being torn to bits. She is having fun with it though, at least! If I would recommend it it just would not be as a you that will last as told.
Indestructible is a misleading claim. My dog destroyed this in a day and it was expensive. It was very hard material on both ends and a gentler material in the middle which will never be reached as both ends are shards of hard plastic which collect fuzz and hair which I cleaned multiple times and it hurt to clean it day two because of the sharpness. Also the eyes were painted on and peeled off. Had to take it away from the dog.
This is advertised as a ‘dog toy’ for aggressive chewers. Boy! They weren’t kidding. This alligator is made of ceramic or glass and my 9lb dog cannot play with it at all. He cannot carry it or bite it or anything. It’s more of a garden piece or something to put near a pool as a decoration. I don’t know…. I’d mail it back for a refund but it weighs a ton!
Both my dogs are very aggressive chewers and they tear everything to shreds immediately so I thought I would give this toy a try because it looked durable and it was a reasonable price. The dogs absolutely adored the toy, but as soon as they started chewing on it, it started breaking little pieces of plastic off everywhere. I did not want my dogs ingesting plastic. I felt like this was a very unhealthy toy and couldn’t believe how fast it was coming off. I do not recommend if you care about what goes into your dog’s stomach
False advertising by the seller the toy is a figurine not an actual toy as pictured. It’s significantly smaller than shown. I attempted to report the product and seller and was given the run around on this app. It’s a $2 figurine your dog will destroy and not worth the $16 bad on Walmart that continues this seller to sell this nonsense
I put this in front of our dog and he just looked at it. did not want to touch it. it is very heavy and hard. there's no way for them to even chew on it without breaking a tooth
Do not buy this toy. The picture makes it look like a plush toy, and it is a solid chunk of hard plastic. This toy would wear the enamel off your dogs teeth at any scratches they may put on it would cut their gums and tongue. do not buy.
It's not as big as advertised. The softer but still hard center was destroyed in mere minutes and the two ends are as hard as a eock, literally. You might as well save your money and just go get a rock feom your yard for your dog to chew on. I'm very disappointed
