Pet Genius Smart Play Ball for Cats, White

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We inherited a kitted from the neighborhood, so we let him play with this toy due to the other cats not wanting him to play with theirs. He loves it, hides it from the others and plays with it all day. Its very easy to assemble, small part to charge, so be careful. Its convenient and quiet so now I think our cats are jealous because he wont let them play with it.

We've definitely had some good laughs watching them play with it. This ball is super easy to use. You charge it then it's ready to roll. I love the catnip compartment. So easy to put it in and no mess. It definitely keeps my two fur babies active.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My cats enjoy batting at this ball (they're very toy picky) but my puppy... he loves it! He will chase it around for hours and never get bored. He tries to pick it up, but his mouth is too small which is great because he can't chew it up. I love that it's USB rechargeable because he plays with it so much that we'd be going through batteries!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well, the PetGenius Smart Pet Play Ball was a super big hit with my cat. When it arrived, I noticed it had a little bit of a scent. I'm not sure if it was cat nip or what -- but I put the box in my closet, with plans to take it out later. Well, later came and went, but the cat didn't forget about the box in the closet. Long story short, the box is no longer recognizable so I can't read on it if there is catnip in the toy or what. Whatever was on it, the cat thoroughly enjoyed. She also enjoys playing with the toy, but the box is really where the product excelled. My cat has a thing about small cardboard boxes to begin with, but again this one seemed to be spritzed with catnip juice or something. It was nice to see her get so excited about a toy again, and this one sees like it may last for a while. I love that the ball is rechargeable, so there's no risk of batteries falling out and getting left on the ground for small kids to find. The size of the ball is just right for an adult cat and the whole design seems to be made to catch kitty's attention. Overall, it's a smart design and a great purchase for a cat, especially an older sort of jaded cat like mine. If you do buy one of these, be sure to save the box -- that's the best part.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little thing is AMAZING. The cats went nuts over it and I didn't even put cat nip in it yet. It does a great job in not getting stuck in a corner or something, the movement is pretty random and always gets out of a jam. This will definitely keep the kitties entertained.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have a kitten and an older cat. Both of them have enjoyed this toy. I have not put catnip in it yet because I don't have any but they still really like it. It's slightly hard to open though I understand why, if it were easier it may fall apart during play. This will run into and under everything. And keep going. The light is visible but not super bright. The ball is a good size, a little too large for my kitten right now but just right for the older cat. They both like to chase this around the living room until it inevitably gets stuck behind the couch and one of the kids has to go rescue the toy. Charging does take a few hours but it lasts a good while, I've charged it 2 times and they have played with it randomly for 5 days. It was hard to figure out how to turn it on, I actually couldn't get it to turn on but my son did. You shake it and it turns on or off. Not sure how he does. It will auto shut off when after a while which is good when the cats get tired of it. I can't imagine what this will be like if I ever do add catnip to it. Even more fun I suppose!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This play ball has been super entertaining for our kittens. It moves on its own and then stops and starts again, really capturing their attention. It has a red light which also makes them curious. There is a chamber inside to add catnip to as well, but we haven't tried that yet.

Doesn't roll on a carpet, and my carper is flat and smooth.
