it really does make a loud enough sound to scare them off the bed..at least that side..my only thing is you would have to buy three for a bed..this one would be perfect for a couch though so maybe they could make a larger size .the price was a little high also

Safer and better alternative to shocking
Absolutely works. I have placed the 2 I bought under the edges of my Turkish rug. The mats are still sensitive enough to sound off even through the thickness of the rug. Only had to be stepped on once or twice and now my little 17 lb dog avoids the rug completely.

Absolutely love it, super price and it actually works. I have 5 inside dogs and a cat they all stay off the couches now. Wish I would have found this along time ago.

This mat needs a heavy cat to activate it. it only goes off part of the time with my cat.
