I found a baby squirrel in road (not hurt) and called vet they said to feed it puppy milk, I went on Walmart website found it and had it delivered even paid an extra $9.99 delivery fee for express %26 paid delivery driver fee for a total of $35.00 for a $11.00 milk and it was well worth it. I've had the squirrel for 3 days now and he is thriving because you provided the milk that no other grocery stores had. So a big thank you to Walmart for that!
Well, my Sadie is nursing 5 puppies and I give it to her to supplement her own milk. She loves it and drinks it well, she even "asks" for it. For me, on a limited income it is kind of expensive, but it is worth it to make sure my dog is getting, and the puppies,, good nutrition. She digests it good, no problems.
My puppies took right to this stuff. However I recommend this quantity for only one bottle fed puppy. I ended up needing to resort to a powdered formula that lasted longer.
Great product for puppies. Mine had to be separated from mom and they loved the milk. Slowly added water to get them used to water. They didn’t have any issue digesting it and since you can use right out of carton it’s very convenient.
I used a combination of the milk replacer and puppy food to begin weaning my dog's puppies. They loved the flavor, and tolerated it very well. My only problem is the price- when you have an entire litter of puppies depending on this stuff, this stuff gets to be VERY pricey! 32oz doesn't go very far, even with a smallish litter of 5 puppies, so I was going through multiple containers a week. But the pups are growing like weeds and are very healthy, so I'd say it does the job!!
more than half of the product has settled into a hard mass at the bottom of the container. No amount of shaking, stirring or literal putting in a high speed blender will reincorporate it smoothly into the milk. living in a small town Walmart is my only option at this time.
None of the baby puppies or even the older puppies would touch the milk substitute unless it was mixed with some other dog food product . Baby puppies 2 to 3 weeks, older puppies 6 weeks in weaning
I bought this for my litter, and while it looked okay at first glance, it was clearly spoiled. Two of my hungriest pups devoured their portions without coming up for air, while the others wouldn't touch it. I quickly realized why, it was curdled. The pups that ate it developed rock-hard, gas-filled bellies almost immediately. It took hours of Mylicon drops and therapeutic belly rubs to get them through the night. Please check your stock; this was a dangerous experience.
We got this because it was the only liquid puppy formula we could find in store and no matter how hard or how long we shook it up, it was still clumpy. We bought SO many, at least 10 boxes, and every single one of them clumped up. Wish I could get my money back. This milk is too expensive to receive a clumpy mess in every carton
As a breeder of champion Australian Shepherds, my clients depend on me to provide exceptional nutrition. I've purchased this product for 3 years to date, spent hundreds. The last 6 boxes I've purchased are clumpy and inconsistent with product amount in box when opened. The price has more than doubled since i started this business, going from appr. $4/box to almost $12/box. Unacceptable.
