i adopted 2 four weeks old kitties, even though they told me they could have regular kitty food i bought the milk, they are older now a 2 m old and 3 m old. They still love the milk, no problem with digestion, poop is normal not runny. Every pet is different but this has ben my experience.
The little kittens we found, absolutely love this milk. Must be just like moms. So cute to watch them drink it and get the milk all over their little faces.
When you live in the country you don't knowwhat will be dropped off maybe baby kittens could find a baby rabbit but either way Kitten replacer will work for both .. Both do very well on it we just had 5 baby kittens and were able to place them with good homes don't think it would have turned out as well without kitten replacer milk don't have a strong smell mixes great. They accept it well so if you are ever in a place you are needed to feed kittens of bunnies try Kitten replacer it works great and grow good just like mammas milk.
I got this for my daughter's 3 week old stray kitten. The kitten,Mattie, loves this!Ive almost lost a finger for not feeding him quickly enough.😸Make sure to completely mix with water.Easy to use.
I'd never done a kitten rescue. Took me a bit to get the hang of it. The kitten loved it and am currently transitioning him to solid food. A suggestion though. I find that shaking rather than mixing with a spoon works so much better. No clumps. I also use very, very warm water to mix it, which also helps. Just make sure it's cool enough for feeding
Ferrell cats show up sometimes. One ferrell showed up pregnant. She was so thin and pregnant. Long story short, I feed kittens this product with a little kitten pate mixed in. One kitten developed loose stool. Combination of milk and pate could have caused this. Make sure you mix (powder) milk per instructions.
I've been using PetAg powdered kitten milk for many years while fostering and rescuing kittens, and it's become a staple for me. It's affordable, easy to find in stores (even on those late-night emergency runs), and very simple to prepare. I also appreciate that it comes in powder form, which makes it easy to store and mix as needed. Most of the kittens I've cared for have done really well on it without any negative reactions. It's been a reliable product that I continue to trust and recommend for anyone raising or fostering kittens.
drink poor kitten poop out. not digest .I tried to save.Cant say Pet Ag... so sad..was going to try liq. ag.again. went bad/spoiled? A while back. So I tried a power mix at this time. results with kittens drinking but poorly then pooping out.. stray kittens give them love. and a place to lay. with loving words.
I do not really know about this formula. On one hand it is more affordable, seems to give the nutrition the kittens need as they are thriving after losing their mother and her milk and it does not upset their little tummies. However, there are a couple of downsides too. First off, it takes forever to mix it in a way that makes the milk consistency smooth and without any leftover bits of dry formula, and I use a whisk! A metal one at that. I have to constantly beat it until I no longer hear what sounds like sugar granules, and it is soundless and smooth enough where I do not hear anything. It just takes too long to get it mixed right when you have multiple kittens are hollering for something to eat and are hungry. The other thing that is negative, and it is a big negative, when you open it up, there is only just enough to call half, filled with the formula. So, your paying $11 for an already small can of formula and it is only half full. That enrages me to the max!!!! The economy is so bad that you can barely afford to buy food for yourself, yet here you are trying to save some innocent furbaby from starving to death by buying high priced formula and you only get a can that is half full...it is truly disgusting the way these companies do people. If the kittens were not doing so well on this formula, I definitely would avoid it like the plague.
I'm not too sure about this powder I usually buy liquid but as by another things I know it should have been more than that the container was less than half full so I don't know what you know what the deal was but I know it should be more than that so I don't know I'd recommend that to anyone that's really if they're like that I don't think it should be that low so take to give a good review on this
