i'm using it to train a 8 month old dog that i have .. works perfectly n gives you options in keeping your dog safe without restricting it to a short leash

Functional tether. I use open end around his neck and use the end with metal hook to attach to porch. Or attach hook end to his new coat and secure other end to porch. It's length give my pet the freedom to run and find new spots to do stuff in.

The leash and the clip (hardware) are strong. The long links gives the dog plenty of room to.Explore without turning her totally loose. I will buy again when necessary.

super long.
a lot longer than i thought it would be, idk why i thought it would be a normal long leash lol, this thing is longer than i pictured. Definitely long enough for anything i could imagine , pretty thick for a 7 month old lab dog.

This was a great purchase!! I wanted to give my four legged friend more room to run and play .. this is a game changer for me !! Durable, soft and it does its job .. will recommend to my other dog family !!

It is a good leash but….
It is a strong leash, recommended for when you need to take your pooch out without wanting to walk them or them trying to run away. 50 ft. Was enough for my dog. However when you give them that sort of leeway, if you have bushes or small trees, they will wind around them and you have to unwind it. It can be frustrating at times. All in all, a good leash at a decent price.

Eh
Just as you'd expect but the one I received had a VERY strong chemical smell. Even with the window down in the car the smell is overwhelming. Gave me a headache!

Not very durable
My dog chewed up this leash in a matter of minutes. Expected it to be more durable for a dog. I suppose it would be ok for a very old dog missing their teeth.

super flimsy. can't think of a single dog breed that would do exceptionally well with this piece of unk-jay.... my shoe laces are of better quality
