We have had the Purrtek Max for about a week now. It has been working super well and was very easy to put together and set up. The litter has never been cleaner and the tracking pad does a really good job at stopping litter from being spread which our cats are notoriously good at. We're very happy with our new litterbox!

The first one PurrTek 5G works wonderfully and I got the PurrTek Max I had a electric power failure one night and it would no longer work, however the customer service is very helpful and great, they sent a replacement for it and it connected easily and all options are available, compared to the one that had the power failure it did not have all the options available that I had not noticed. But this company has a very good products and services.

Bought two max self cleaners hoping they don't have the same problem the original self cleaners have with the mats. I have 3 of the original ones and after thorough cleaning of machines the mats never remain in place and it became a huge chore to clean the machines thoroughly every few days. If this works better I will be in heaven. I loved the others I just wish they would have fixed the issue with the mats.

Okay, I do still hate cat litter, but this automatic litter box has made it much more tolerable. I'm glad I'm not constantly scooping pee clumps and poop. I have an adult cat and a kitten. The kitten seems like he poops three times his bodyweight each day. I have no idea where he keeps it! (The vet says he's healthy). I recommend this for any cat owner, especially if you have allergies or sensitivities to litter or cats. You can get it covered by your FSA or HSA, too! The photo shows the monster pooper in the background.

I like the Petcove automatic litter, the only issue I have is the piece that attaches onto the cove to catch litter if the kitty kicks the front piece it always fall off or get lost in litter or litter bag. The back piece that covers the trash has broke

We already have the 5G smart box and 2 out of 5 will use it. We decided to get the Max model because our larger cats will fit better. It is very nice with a lot of features. A couple things I miss is the weight feature that I could tell which cat used the box. Also the control panel is not in the front of the box so the only way we can see the display is look directly on the side of the box not facing us.

ITS A GREAT IDEA BUY I HATE HOW SMALL THE LITTER BOX SPACE IS INSIDE. IT MAKES IT MORE LIKELY TO CLEAN AND SWITCH O UT LITTER THAN I WOULD BE BEFOREHAND WITH A NORMAL LITTER BOX AND THE FACT THE CATCHER STEP DOESNT CAYCH ANYTHING EXCEPT DRIPPED DOWN PEE ON IT IS GROSS.

I like the self cleaning feature, however there are minor tech issues that can be resolved but will need to pay attention through the app when that happens. Easy to assemble and app is simple to use. The app tracks when my cats use litter box however it doesn't have an option of detecting which cat use it. Also, the PurrTex Max model seems a little small for my two cats (one is 9lbs and other is about 15lbs). They couldn't rotate themselves when they're inside so they end up pooping/peeing at the edge of the litter box. It's messy when this happens. I bought this because it offers lifetime warranty.

Purchased the PurrTex Max Self Clean due to having large cats. The size is wonderful! The problem is keeping the device online. Constantly having to reconnect it. Why does the app lose connection so often? It seems to struggle with maintaining a stable link, which is frustrating when all you want is for the box to operate automatically. Having to reconnect and go through the setup instructions repeatedly makes the experience far more cumbersome than it should be. Also, the waste catch on the bottom could be a little deeper. With multiple cats, it fills up quickly.
