I tried the woodsy scent but just wasn't a scent that I liked. The fresh scent however is MUCH better, and it works fantastic.Only need a small amount to apply, and puts a great shine on my beard.I'd highly recommend this beard balm.Works better than other products I've tried.
I've been using the product for about a week and love it. It's replacing an oil that I used previously and feels much better after application (oils obvs feel oily throughout the day). Smells great and I only need a small application so I should get a lot of use out of the tin.
This balm not only feels great on my beard, but I've actually received compliments on its scent, even when wearing REBEL cologne, which I also love by the way. It gives my beard the right amount of shine and makes me feel confident walking out the door. I'll definitely buy from the website again.
Im really digging the bread balm! Fresh scents of light citrus and black seed oil do not disappoint. The shine is just enough with out making your beard look greasy.
This stuff will put some shine on your beard for a while, but now too long. The beard balm absolutely makes your beard smoother. With a nice finish. It also smells down right fantastic. I gave the rest of my beard balms away.
For professional reasons this is my first beard and I'm still learning how to style it. Trusting Aaron, I purchased this to help train the whiskers to lay down and the product to not clash with my cologne. For the most part this worked. The Balm itself melted quickly from the heat of my fingers. It quickly soaked into the hair and seemed to have a softening effect. The scent was mild and did not compete with the small amount of cologne I used. The balm had some styling properties and managed most of the hair. I had a few whiskers which did not cooperate, but this could be my crazy hair rather than an issue with the product. When I use up this can, I plan to buy more of it.
In general, I am somewhat positive about the product. As an owner of a mild, 6-day goatee (think Tony Stark) with rigid beard hair, I am looking for the product that will allow me to soften it a little bit - nothing less, nothing more. The oils I have tried before were hard to apply, so I really like that balm has solid paste form to keep things under control. I am also pleased to report that it allows me to keep my beard styled just like P&P putty/Salt spray combo does with my hair, so this is another plus. The third plus is its lack of strong fragrance that competes with your perfumes and cologne. Right now I cannot say much if it can soften my hair - I will try to grow my beard a little thicker and see whether it softens over time of application. There is no rush, though as the balm seems to last me for around half a year. Cheers,
I like this stuff, but mine is the consistency of grits with a sort of oily base filled with little waxy pellets. I don't know if this is the way it's supposed to be, or if there was a problem with it separating (maybe it got hot during shipping?). It works well and smells good, but it's a bit hard to get everything melted and mixed what with having to chase individual wax balls around. It does do good things for my beard though.
I opened the box, peeled the plastic off and opened the tin and literally most of the balm spilled down the sink.I understand that it was melted from being in the heat during shipping but for someone like myself that's never used a beard balm before wouldn't know to let it acclimate to my bathroom temperature for awhile so the product can thicken back up.On the other hand, the balm smells good and the hold is not as strong as I thought it would be.
Wasn't a fan of the smell, which is quite strong and long lasting. I wanted to like it, but having that scent underneath my nose all day isn't pleasant.
