I was hesitant to try this product but definitely glad I did. The hold is great and it provides a non greasy natural look that I'm really loving. Another bonus is that it so quick to style which saves me time during my morning routine. AND I can restyle anytime throughout the day. Awesome product!
Skeptical at first give it a shot and amazing. Completely amazing the texture you're attempting to get is there with this hands down a must. This powder don't leave any trace of residue and blends into hair with ease . Give it 5 mins rubbing into hair after the sea salt and you're good can Alway ar another product for more v volume but this product works amazing
Awesome! Only ever used a styler powder once before this with my barber and loved it. The Pete & Pedro;P has a slightly less strong hold but has better ingredients and does what I need it to do. My hair is very thick so I do require a bit more product than others and paired with the sea salt spray it keeps my hair flowing but not glued down (which is what I like). Overall another fantastic product from Aaron and the team at Pete & Pedro;P!
Texture Powder gives me picture perfect styling with a completely natural look and feel. It's entirely weightless, and I *look like* I didn't use any product at all. If the wind blows, I can restyle with just my fingers and get right back to looking great with no effort or additional product. I love it!
This powder is seriously magical! It can use it at any time of the day without washing my hair prior to use. All the hold I need to do just about anything I want with my short to medium length hair, without the oily shine. But the best part? It's versatile for my every day life! No more helmet head after a ride on the hog, as it is very easily restyle-able. This is now my go-to styling product, as everything else is now at the back of the closet.
Was a little skeptical on how a powder would be able to style, hold and add texture to my hair but it turned out to be one of the best hair products I've ever used. Super fast and easy to use and holds for multiple days without washing. Instantly added texture to my hair. Couldn't ask for a better hair product.
I've used a lot of products over the years in order to increase the volume of my hair - gels, pomades, putty, sea salt spray, and so on. But I had never tried a powder. I was amazed at not only the volume it generates, but also the control it gives. You can pretty much set your hair however you want. The difference is that you apply it to the hair when it's dry and you only use a very small amount. If you haven't tried it before I believe it will be a game changer for you the same way that it was for me. Nicely done Pete & Pedro!
This has honestly become my favorite styling product I've ever used. It gives texture and hold throughout your hair without the look or feel of having product in it. I was surprised by the finish and how much I liked it. Washes out without a thought but holds all day.
TL;DR - small but impressive bottle of styling powder more effective than I gave credit for. Worked for my 3in, thin (not thinning) short hair very well. Plenty of floof and texture. I'm always on the lookout for styling products. I've stepped away from gels and sprays some time ago and used to just run my hair dry. Having wanted a bit more floof and texture, I first started with the putty, which was decent, then the Salt spray, which worked great, even keeping hair from not being as oily. Then I decided to try this powder and was not disappointed! To get my one gripe out of the way, the bottle is small, around the size of my middle finger. Offsetting that negative are two things. The first is that it doesn't take much to get the hair doing it's thing. Having medium lengthed short hair (...? about 3in length), I do a very light sprinkling, back to front, just inside the start of the top hair length on the left and right side and then the same down the middle, also back to front. I then work it in with my fingers. The little bottle has quite a few uses in it, at least compared to a can of dry shampoo, if you know how quickly that runs out. I have between 1/2 and 2/3 of the bottle remaining after using it about 6 times. The second benefit I forgive the small size for may or may not be applicable to you, but it's this: I have really oily hair. I can shower in the afternoon and wake up in the next morning with hair that's just barely presentable. I shower in the morning and wake up the next day and it looks like I just got back from exercising. It's gross. The powder allows me to not have to wash my hair everyday. Now, whether it cleans the hair or not, I don't know. It could just be absorbing the oil, leaving my hair just as filthy without looking like it. But, while I don't recommend taking it out this long, a test had it making oily head last 4 days while still being presentable. I'd only recommend this if you wash your face regularly and don't sleep on one side of your pillow for several days as I cannot speak to how clean or dirty your hair will be from this. So, all that said. There's a little bottle of powder that has at least 20 uses on it, each use being good enough to maintain very impressive, restylable floof and texture as well as keeping oily residue hidden for 3-5 days in 3in long hair. That's well worth it to me. I was skeptical at first. Now, I found a great companion product to the Salt Spray.
I took this on a recent trip -- small bottle made for easy packing, and styling lasted all day long. The texture on my hair felt a bit strange to me, but perhaps I used too much. As others have said here, a little goes a long way. Overall, pleased with the performance.
