i love it. my cats still getting use to it. their tags hit the tray and scares them.if they don't eat it all, it will back up but it lets you know, which is no problem.little expensive but so far no problems with it and happy i bought them. only had for a couple days.

We are recently a family of 2 kitties. Our older cat is a carbo-fiend and if kibble is out anywhere in the house, she will consume it before any other creature gets a fighting chance. Our new kitty is super lax about eating her food and doesn't eat all at once…. We got the new kitty this feeder and she figured out after one time of us showing her to go near it how to walk up and get her food when she wants it. The lid closes within 1 second of her walking away and our older cat has never been successful in getting in there! Cannot recommend this highly enough!!

I have three cats, one of which likes to nibble all throughout the day, so this feeder makes it possible to feed him without the other two cats eating all his food. Took a couple days for him to get used to the cover, but adjusting the door's time before shutting helps. The cover is super quiet so not at all scary for the cats.

We have two cats and were previously using two Petlibro Air feeders for their meal times. Those feeders worked great for simple scheduling of meals, but unfortunately our larger, food-driven kitty would end up eating the kibble from both feeders leaving our grazing kitty with not much left for when she chose to eat. Upgraded one of the feeders to this RFID feeder to lock the other cat out and so far so good! Our grazer learned very quickly where to get her food and the RFID collar isn't as intrusive as I thought it was going to be. I didn't like that there's no low food indicator outside of the app (since I disabled the lights), but the app itself is so useful and informative I got over that annoyance pretty quickly. I've heard stories of other cats learning how to open the door, but it does feel like it's pretty solidly closed and so far our foodie hasn't figured anything out (and fingers crossed that he never does).

This is my 4th feeder for the stray kitten I just took in. I love these feeders. I'm able to feed each cat or kitten individually based on their needs and the notifications work well, telling me food is low or it's blocked.

I have 3 cats, eating all different foods. 1 eating Kidney medicated, 1 eating Gastrointestinal medicated and 1 eating normal food. We were trying to do it manually but it was a mess. They were stealing each other's food. It took 2 days to get them used to the feeders. And 1 feeder was too close to a WiFi appliance, not letting the feeder detect the collar properly. Fixed it by moving away the feeder from the interfering appliance. Can't believe it works so well! And cats are not bothering me in the morning to feed them either. Now they wait patiently for their food near the feeder around 20 minutes before schedule. Also, scheduled it for 6 times a day on a measured portion, so it fixed the constant puking of one of my cats from eating too much too fast. This has been awesome so far!

My daughter has 3 cats, all on different diets and portions so I got these for her as a gift, and it has REALLY helped keep them eating what they are supposed to be eating :) The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is there are 2 things I wish were different. I wish the feeding station was wider, one of our cats is a really large breed and it's hard for him to move his head around to get to all the food. Second, I wish the tag on the collar wasn't dangling, it hits the feeder when they eat and it scares them. I love the fact that you can move the tag to your own collar, but it would be nicer if it was designed to lay flatter against the collar as opposed to hanging.

These were easy to set up. And I only have one complaint which is that my cat keeps breaking out of his collar. So the only improvement would be if there was a way for it to be activated by the chip in his body. But this has been a fantastic way to keep my fat cat out of my skinny boys food. And hopefully she'll lose weight too.

This is a great cat bowl. I wasn't happy that I had to buy this, but a very food motivated kitten would not leave our adult cats food alone. It started to cause gastrointestinal issues for her. The set up was quick and super user friendly. My main reason I am not giving 5 stars is the chip reader thing on the collar. It is not the best and is bigger than I was hoping. I was hoping for a small tag (like smaller than a penny or something). Our adult cat is not thrilled about it either. It spooks her whenever it hits something like the water dish. I feel bad, but she has to wear it. The original collar is also not as breakaway as I am comfortable with. I ended up switching collars because I was really worried about it. As soon as kitten is old enough we will likely take the collar off and just leave the bowl open, unless the kitten proves to be stubborn and we have to prevent her from over eating lol.

The ability to stop the cats from eating each other's food and knowing they are both getting the food they need it's great. However, my one cat has managed to get the airtag off its wire holder, causing me to have to zip tie it back on. And the other cat has the ability to get the collar off my somehow unlatching the collar. I feel for the price we pay for these units, the collar set up should be much better.
