We owned a later model of this cat toy that just had one speed on or off. This model has four speeds (slow, medium, fast and random). Our 2 year and 6 year old cats both love it and tried to carry the feather toy off like a kill. I'm very happy with this toy. It is a lot quiter than our older model which finally wore out... we had the previous one for about 3 years so we got our money's worth out of it.

If I could give this cat toy 100 stars, I would. We've had this toy for a couple months now and the cat is still obsessed with it. When we press the button to turn it on, it runs for about 10 minutes. As soon as it turns off, the cat goes to everyone in the house and meows and paws at us until someone turns the toy back on. Seriously, the only thing that could make this toy better is if the cat could turn it on all by himself. This is literally the best money I've ever spent on a pet.

I have a cat who gets bored with any toy within 5 minutes. Or, more likely, she would rather see me working to entertain her than her doing any exercise to entertain herself. One toy that was sure thing for my previous 6 cats, she wouldn't even deign to look at it. Then I ordered this...amazing! She loves it, will play with it for hours! Even when she's not pouncing on the feathers, she's sitting there watching with great interest while it goes around. And, yes, she also does pounce on it, too. I just hope this thing lasts, because in four years it's the only toy that has ever kept her attention for more than a few minutes. Also, I'd love to know from the manufacturer if there is any way to replace the feathers if they all get pulled out.

My cat loves this toy and will cry until I turn it on. Minus one star because it only stays on for a few minutes and when it is on, it eats batteries. This toy would be better if it came with a remote, or if it could be charged between use. Highly recommend using rechargeable batteries, otherwise expect to change out the batteries 2-3x month.

This toy was delivered on March 10, 2021. Within a few days, they had pulled the feathers out of the wand, but still LOVE this toy. They actually come to find me to turn it on, even at 4am! It has been played with morning and night, but not non-stop (there 8s a lot of sleeping in between). At 4am this morning, March 21,2021, I had a cat in my face wanting it turned on. It went through one 15 minute cycle and he was back. It wouldn't turn on, so , half asleep, I figured it needed new batteries. I put new batteries in, nothing. The lights on the top where you turn it on, still light up, but it will not turn on. My cats are so disappointed. I really thought they would get more than 10 days Plat out of this toy. For the enjoyment my cats get out of this, 5 stars!! For the time it lasted 2 stars. And they need to make replacement wands. Please make a new and improved version of this toy, PLEASE! AND have replacement wands available for sale. This could be an awesome toy. Please take the time to improve it - you will make money!!!

This is my cats favorite toy. Its very entertaining. The problem is the toys mechanism is not very durable. They stop working much too soon. She has gone through 5 of this toy in a year. I buy 2 at a time and am on the second one already from this recent purchase.

A great toy from my cats' point of view. They never tire of watching the mystery "animal" move under the fabric cover. They also jump on it, wrestle with it, claw it and chase it which leads to their guardian's point of view: be prepared to replace this toy multiple times. I've had seven or eight of these. Each will last a few months so they're not shoddily constructed. And maybe your cats are more sedate than mine. I keep replacing them because the cats have never lost interest and the activity is great for them.

THis item has a VERY SHARP metal wire in the rim of the fabric which broke and cut through....it cut my hand and could have REALLY hurt the animals. The wire is totally unnecessary to the design and should be removed. If you have this item...TAKE THE WIRE out.
