Petlinks Plume Crazy Wand, extra-long Plush Cat Toy

Cats love balls, but they end up under the couch. They love the fishing pole type toys, but they either chew the string or the pole snaps. Then there are battery operated toys, which I hate, because there's no interaction between my cats and I. I searched and searched at many stores and online, but all the toys are the same. Then I came across this toy. It's another pole, but looked sturdier, and it's thick fur instead of a thin string, so I decided to give it a try and ordered one for each of my cats. Oh. My. Gosh! They're perfect and both of my cats love them! Fur and feathers! My children love playing with our cats too, so they get the toys out every day, but the poles are very strong and these toys are holding up very well! I finally found the best cat toy and if these ever break, I know I'll order them again!

Of all the toys I bought my cat this is his most favorite one. It's nice and long with feathers so I can play with him except for he eats some of the feathers. I have to keep an eye on him about this and check the floor to make sure there is no feathers. But this is his very favorite like I said. Very nice and sturdy to. If I have to I will buy it again but it is so strong that this will last quite a while.

All 3 of my cats love this toy. When not used I put it in between my dear cushions and the next day one of them will bring it to me on the bed. I have two 5 and a half year olds. Now, I don't bother putting it away. I find it all over the house. Remember also play with your cat an hour a day. Try the laser. Walmart sells that only for $2.00 w/extra batteries. Great for exercise and laughing.

My cat loves the plume part of this toy and it is easy for me to tease him with it.

My kitten loves this toy. It is his favorite and I'll probably get another one. If anything will distract him from getting into mischief, this toy will.

Our cat likes this tail. Unfortunately the tail looses a good bit of black fur as soon as it is carried or used. It will land on your clothes when held against your body. I was about to toss it out when my husband removed a lot of the loose fur by rubbing it with his finger, then with a wet paper towel, and finally vacuuming the tail. This removed much of the loose fur. Now the tail drops a bit of fur only occasionally. We have been playing with our cat with the tail for approximately 2 weeks and the tail has withstood cat-biting, clawing, and being pulled while in the cat's grasp. It seems to be durable. There is a little hard piece dangling from the tail. Our cat likes to chew on the piece. We noticed it beginning to break apart, so we removed it. The piece can be cut off if you fear it hitting your kitten/cat, or being ingested. I recommend this toy only if you remove the loose fur upon receipt, and if you monitor use of the extra hard piece or remove it. Without the fur problem I would have rated this toy with 4 stars.

My kitten likes it somewhat - she was afraid of it at first. Now she does play with it sometimes. It leaves feathers everywhere and she had one in her mouth .

I'm giving a 2 instead of a 1 because my cat really enjoyed playing with it for the 5 minutes it worked. Then the fabric just ripped in half and the toy in the middle fell off. I can probably sew it back together, but how often? I was so happy when she loved it. When it ripped I was so disappointed for both of us.

Dont buy if you care about your cats. This item went directly in the trash upon arrival. It is made from very low quality material that sheds fibers that look like hair but they are indeed plastic, which is not only toxic and carcinogenic but can obstruct the digeative tract. Lesson learned and $3 wasted. Zero stars

My kittens liked playing with for the 2 or 3 minutes before all the fake fur started coming of it. I picked it up and was lightly touching the fur and tufts of it were going all over. What a mess, threw it out in under 5 minutes of use.
