Petmate Basic Open Top Cat Litter Pan Plastic Cat Litter Box, Jumbo, Grey

I purchased this for my turtle to burrow into when she hibernates this year. Nice and deep and think it will work perfectly. Think it would be good for its intended purpose also.

It took a little while to get this pan but I'm very pleased with it. I like the fact that the sides are higher. I like to keep a very large pan inside a big cardboard box as several of my cats use the same pan. I used this pan to replace the old one that was in the box and it works very well. A bit wider than the one I had so that is nice.

Love the large size and high sides. Eddie says it's perfect with plenty of covering space. Really helps keep those paws clean.

we've been looking for the Van Ness dark blue but we just can't find them so this is certainly a good substitute even if it is beige

Finally a good size cat litter box. We have one for each of our cats and they have plenty of room to do tgeir business! The sides are high enough so the litter doesnt get thrown out and not much is around it when i go to sweep the floor around it. Our adult and kitten both get in and out with no problem.

Great size for my super large kitty. Didn't give a full five stars because somehow the side is cracked after regular usage. I've never seen that in any other litter box. Also I agree with a prior review that the design of the side can make cleanup messy without the right litter.

I have been buying this product for many years it is well made (they just don't break) and inexpensive. It is a good size and I tend to have ex-ferals and strays that do not feel comfortable in closed litter boxes. Bigger cats don't feel comfortable in smaller or closed boxes. You do NOT want to discourage your pet from using the litter box just because of your convenience. Also, I think with a closed box, they will track more litter because they want to get out quickly. You are much better off with this jumbo box.

I like this litter box because it has higher sides and helps to keep the litter inside the box.

I bought this larger litter box in hopes that 1) my mom's old, fat cat would stop missing the box and 2) it wouldn't need changed as often, especially since we have more than one litter box. Mom thought this was the same one as the other one we have but it is deeper and not as big in width and length. However, if you only have two cats that aren't getting old, blind, and too fat to see where they are making their toilet, it is perfect!

I like the size, the color, but it doesn't have a cut out on one end for the ease of cats to get in %26 out. My male cat is big enough to step over the sides, but not my two female cats. These sides are 6", I think. No litter box should not have a cut out for the cats to get in %26 out. I will have to return it because the sides are too high for my two female cats.
