Petmate Ruff Max Kennel Replacement Door - Black

The gate latch on my PetTaxi dog grate just broke and rather than buying a whole new, expensive crate, I just replaced the whole door. It fit perfectly and the latch actually seems to be designed better, like it might last longer than the last one.

This was the perfect size for my kennel! Nice and smooth clasp edges and NO sharp parts where are you open the gate! 😊

Exact replacement door for Retriever carrier

The door appears to be well made, and welded together well. I just have a very old kennel made by Petmate and the door did not fit. It shipped fast.

Door is very flimsy. There is a plastic piece that holds the two bars and the springs on (the entire latch system), with a gentle push it will pop off. When it comes off the door can easily open. It stood no chance against my dog. We even tried zip ties and safety wire to keep that plastic piece on and my dog was able to get through those as well. He was even able to bend the entire door inwards and get out that way. I would not recommend purchasing this. I paid extra for the 2 year warranty and never received the email with the warranty information.
