Petrodex Enzymatic Toothpaste for Dogs, Peanut Butter Flavor, 2.5 oz

I like using this for my dog because he doesn't mind it. if it was giving him put off taste or smell he would let me know definitely. but he lets me brush his mouth teeth and gums with this easier than using the other toothpaste. he has a sore mouth so that's why I'm using it I'm not so sure about the charger because I just started using it a couple of weeks ago...

My dog lets me brush his teeth every night before evening's rest eith this peanuy butter Petrodex toothpaste. I followed directions and only did a few teeth on one side the first time with back and forth motion next to his gum line. The next day, I spent around 4 minutes doing the top teeth on both sides. The next day his whole mouth was done. I could see visible difference that first week in color of gums around his teeth. He enjoys these sessions each night. When done, I softly massage over his fur all around outside of his mouth as a reward for being so good.

I brush my 3 Cocker Spaniels' teeth every day and I have found this toothpaste makes it relatively easy to do the job. Granted my dogs are used to getting their teeth done but the taste of the toothpaste is definitely a factor. If they like the taste the job is so much easier for me and pleasant for them. Walmart has been selling this product at a competitive price point at Walmart.ca and selected Walmart retail stores. I quite often buy 5 or 10 tubes at a time. Highly recommended!

My dogs like this toothpaste so it isn't such a challenge to brush their teeth. Works reasonably well, but I use a multi-modal approach to keeping their teeth clean because that is what is generally required. Just brushing alone typically isn't enough.

My last tub lasted my dog a good 4 year where I used it once a week or more. this tub is smaller at first she didn' t like the taste.

I purchased this after reading favorable reviews. My dogs disagree! They all sneezed after using it and run in the other direction when I even touch the tube ! I did not sense any sort of a peanut scent at all. It's a green gel? Maybe it's a Chihuahua thing , but they are not usually a fussy bunch. I wasted my money but maybe it's just not my dogs preference .

It contains oils like Eucalyptus that are toxic to dogs.

I have used this product for 5 years and this new tube was like a thick black tar. When I opened the tubes it had an extremely strong chemical smell so I don't know if it was a bad tube or if they changed the formula. I work with chemicals often and this was one of the strongest odors I have ever come across. On the plus side, Walmart did have an easy return process so thank you!
