Petronio Shoe Master All Purpose Contact Cement 8 oz Can

Have not used this item yet. However it is the best product for using on multiple items. I learned about this contact cement many years ago while working in a family owned shoe repair shop. This was their go to for all their repair work. Therefore I trust using it and know it will stand up to pretty much anything it's used on.

Looks ok. Arrived without a leak.

Although it has quite a strong odor, it is as good as all the other reviews said it was for leatherwork

Excellent glue product. However, it is way too much for anyone to use in their lifetime. A smaller amount would be ideal.

Delivered with top open and glue hard inside package. Im sure the glue would work well if it were not spilled inside of package before it arrived at my home.

I was fooled by the picture which shows a stretched image of the can to make it look bigger. Be sure to know that this is only 8 oz. I found out that you can actually get A GALLON for $19 elsewhere online!!

The brush is too long for the can. So,instead of a nice flat brush that gives me control of application I get a brush that is spread out from being screwed down against the bottom of the can. Totally useless. I buy my cement by the gallon. I just needed the can since mine was finally worn out and after looking for ages I couldn't find a new can. Take a make up brush or small (1/2 inch) artist paint brush and push it straight down on a table over halfway down to the mettle ring that holds the bristles to the handle. It stays in this spread out smashed position always. It is supposed to be clear of the bottom so the brush remains flat. The permanently deformed brush is utterly useless for any accurate work. And this crap is NOT something you want to be sloppy with. PERIOD!
