Pets First Professional Pet Mat Remover - Dematting Tool for Grooming Cats & Dogs - Removes Matted Fur, Tangles, Knots, Loose Hair & Dirt - Stainless Steel, Gentle Teeth, Soft Comfort Grip Handle

Jasper has Norwegian Forest cat traits. The fur on his chest and stomach is heavy and dense. Prior to this comb, his underside was heavily matted. I was shocked on how quickly the mats came out and there was hardly any pulling on his skin like traditional combs. Jasper is very timid and he wasn't bothered at all by the combing.

Take it easy on those tough coat problems especially during winter when you can't remove their coat. Very nice way to keep your fur kid happy and healthy! Works great! You will love it!!

This tool works well in getting the mats off of my cat, who puts up a big fight whenever I try to brush him. it essentially just cuts the mats right off without having to use a loud razor, or using scissors and risk nicking your cat. My only complaint is that I wish it had a dual sided tooth, or maybe a dual sided head or something so that you can use it at any angle. Since the teeth only go in one direction, it can be a bit awkward to maneuver some areas and sometimes I have to become a lefty. Other than that, it's a nifty little tool.

Works great

It's what I was looking for but it isn't as gentle on my cats as I as hoping.

My cat is 18 and very matted so I order this hoping it would help. Since she is long hair it removed the small mattes but pulled on the longer ones. I am hoping once I shaver her all the way it will help when the small matts come back. The price was really good

waste of money

Doesn't meet expectations, does not work as described. Basically this product was useless, returned it immediately.

It's for left handed!!! Very hard to use it , because I'm right handed

Hurts my dog even using it lightly
