These have been very good products that have been very durable. I have had one that did not work correctly when received or shortly after, but the company has fantastic service and replaced it immediately. This collar is a replacement for one that is several years old and the battery life is beginning to shorten, but they have been very heavily used and have worked great. The collar came in a cloth material, which I do not prefer, as my dogs get wet a lot and the cloth gets very stinky, but I suspect they will get me a rubber version it is available once I ask. Like I said, the service is excellent!
I tried the yard wireless one and it just didn't work for us. However, this new one has a vibration rather then a shock. I love it. It actually has sound, vibration and shock. The vibration is more then enough to make my little dogs pay attention to me.
still a good collar. Bought my original one back in 2019 and it was trustworthy and reliable. A few differences in this collar vs. the older version, such as the collar portion is now cloth and not rubber which is a bummer considering the creek water/red mud is now a hassle to clean. Also, it only came with one prong size vs. two like the 2019 version. The differences that are appealing to me are the changes made to the remote. The ridge on the shock makes it easier when leaving my dogs with the sitter. The previous model left me to resort to drawing lightening bolts and bells to communicate which button does what and now the raised button on the shock makes it known. Great product, hopefully this one will last another 4 years but no doubt I'll be a returning customer when it does reach it life span.
Does an outstanding job helping me control two dogs in the field. What's best is that I just use the tone and vibration buttons and do not have to use the static mode.
My two dogs would chase deer etc. and not come back when called. I think they actually laughed at me! With the trainers they have become very good at listening and following directions.
We love this remote trainer so we can take our dog for a walk and let him run and enjoy the walk. The beep sound alerts our dog without even using the shock and he is a big dog with lots of hair. Only thing it needs is a battery indicator for the collar. It's hard tell if it's charged or not.
It works great. My only feedback is when I give the tone I have accidentally shocked my dog because the buttons are across from each other on opposite sides of the remote. Otherwise I like this system.
I have purchased several static training collars. This remote trainer has the smallest electronics for the collar that I have used, it seems to make it less noticable to my dog. I haven't had a chance to test the range yet, but with the limited range it has been reliable. The one thing I do not care for is that there are not any clear indications of what the buttons are for on the remote. I would really rather not accidently use the static correction when I am trying to use the vibration. With just a little use you learn the buttons easy enough, but untill you remember what they are for you might hit a couple different buttons trying to find the one you want. I bought this training collar and an additional collar for my 2 pit bulls and one of the collars will not charge. Right out of the box it wouldn't charge...onto trying to get it replaced or refunded
Hard to deliver stimulation and sound-buttons hard to push could never unlock could never get it paired with other collar. I tried every day and tried to use it. In the end I borrowed another brand from a friend and got results in 1 walk!. I returned after the first week for a refund.
