PetSafe Bark Control Collar for Dogs 8 lb. and Up, Automatic Anti-Bark Static Correction Training

We have a somewhat nervous doggie that barked at everything. In just a very short time the barking was down to almost zero with the collar on. After a few weeks the collar was just needed occasionally. After a few months the collar sits on the counter almost all the time. Not only is our life quieter but our Goldendoodle is much calmer and less stressed as well. Worth every cent!!

Bark collar worked beautifully for our 13 pound mini schnauzer who took to barking when people started being home all day with quarantine. He learned quickly with the collar and now we only put it on him to remind him every week or so. Great product!

We have a reactive standard poodle and his barking was out of control. Not only would he bark at everything he saw out the window, he would also scratch at the window, jump from the couches and go crazy. It took a couple of days but right now someone has been in our driveway for 20 minutes and he has not made a sound. We've been able to sit with him in on our porch while the neighbors are outside, it's been amazing. Once in a while he will bark but not more than 3 times. It was so easy to use and as long as you put the collar on tight enough and center under the jaw it works perfectly fine. He plays in it and he gets a treat every time we put it on. Would recommend to anyone.

I have a 50lb pitbull with high anxiety, and he barks loudly at any small noise. This collar has limited him to a quiet growl, and now he does not bark even when the collar is off because he doesn't want me to put it on him. I am extremely satisfied with my purchase.

I was a little squeamish about getting this, but I was at the end of my rope with a 15-month old Bernedoodle who barks incessantly at other dogs while on walks or even in the car. (Not just a bark...that would be normal...but a crazy frenzy pawing at the window trying to get out of the car to "get" the other dog.) I was afraid it might be inhumane and hurt my puppy, which I would never want to do. After reading a lot about it, I realized it was just one more tool to have in the toolbox. The vibration that the dog feels is enough to make him jump, and even to annoy him, but it didn't appear to "hurt" him. I used it as a reminder and tried to activate positive reinforcement along with this. So, for example, when we were riding in the car and I'd see a dog ahead, I'd say, "No bark. Good boys don't bark." He would finally see the other dog and do a little throat clearing and whining, but he did not go bananas with a barking frenzy. Within about a week to ten days, I didn't need to use the collar any more. I just reminded him with a "No bark," and gave him treats when he didn't. Now that it's been about 2-3 weeks without using it, he did go ballistic in the car this morning when he saw another dog, so I will pull it out again and use it for a day or two until he "remembers" about the inappropriate behavior.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all let me say that my little dog is a constant crazy barker. This bark collar did not help much at all. I really think it's a great concept and it would probably help some other dogs. I just think my dog is too hyper.

It doesn't seem to be working. We can't get the blue test light. Our dog doesn't seem to detect any vibration.

I didn't rate the collar higher, not because of it's performance, but because it is too large for a small dog. The packaging had to be cut in order to remove it, so now I cannot return it.

I could not get the bark collar to work correctly. The bark collar will turn on ,but it will not correct the dog when she barks.

I have tried everything including getting additional batteries. This thing does nothing for my dog. Not quite sure how this can be sold as a bark collar because it literally changed nothing.
