This is the 6th one I bought. We have 4 cats and each one has his own color. The reason for buying 6 is one of the cats' harnesses is missing and the other is too small. I love that there are several colors to choose from. I have only one complaint with the harness. The clips and straps are too small. I have trouble with securing the belly straps to the back straps due to numbness and stiffness in my hands. Other than that it's a great harness. I love the Come With Me Kitty harness!
Come with me Kitty/ little tricky for me for the first time, now simple. My 2 year old house cat, never outside. I created a monster. It took a couple of times for her to walk in it. Now she loves it. Now I attach her to a rope when I work in the garden. She cry's to have me put it on for outside play time.
Great harness/leash for my kittens. They are 14 weeks old and I got the small. Easy to get on and off. Cats don't seem to mind. They don't walk around much with it on. They prefer just to sit with me outside which is fine.
I purchased this as part of my cat's physical rehab after an FHO (hip) procedure. It is easy to put on and adjust and is working well for his daily walks. An option of a leash extender would be kinda nice.
This bungee leash is my favorite and my 7 pound maltipoo ‘s favorite. It is just the right length and has just the right amount of stretch. I found the first one in my local pet store, then they didn't have it anymore. I tried others but went to the website to get this one again.
I was walking my cat in a new area when I noticed he stopped to smell something then backed away obviously spooked about what he smelled. Right then my son pet him and our cat freaked out and lost it. He was scrambling to get away obviously experiencing a fight or flight moment. As he was pulling this harness squeezed tightly around his body and did not allow him to escape. Let me tell you- he did everything he could to get away and I thought for sure he would slip out, but he didnt! My cat is a 16lb strong young Maine Coon and he easily slipped out of the other harnesses I tried on him with a little twist. This was a full on jumping, flinging, panicked kitty who thought he had been grabbed by a predator. I used a size medium and it felt pretty snug... but boy am I glad it was snug! After he calmed down we removed the harness which was still in place and he didn't occur any injuries. Happy ending and a very impressive harness!
I use this harness for all my adventure cats and it's great! It's not restrictive like some other thicker harness and is more comfortable for new adventure cats. The simple design won't add any unnecessary weight or heat. The bungee harness prevents them from pulling too hard and creates a secure boundary for them. I would recommend this harness for anyone interested in getting their cats outside! Just make sure to secure it properly and snugly so they don't slip out and you might want to shorten or knot the harness in the length you want, the rubber stopper is a little too easy to undo and can loosen the harness as time goes on.
This is my second one. I really like the design -simple thin nylon. I found the mesh ones were too wide and my cat was uncomfortable wAlking in it and I think made her overheat. That first I didn't like the bungee leash but then loved it! U don't have to worry about to dragging on the ground, having the cat get it caught between it's legs if it droops and they step partially over it.... it stretches to be longer .... but recoils good. The ONLY thing I don't like is that the rubber stopper is useless. The third hike the rubber stopper already wasn't working so the harness constantly loosens— so u have to keep an eye on it and readjust to Sinch it tighter again. There's gotta be a better fastener thing that can be used to tighten and secure....
I got this for my jack russell terrier and He loves it. The only negative is the nylon covering attracts burrs and is getting snaggy looking from dragging on the ground.
Used this on the first walk and it was fine. Second time, our new Bengal escaped from this leash, and I freaked out which spooked him and made matters worse. Luckily, he decided to run back into the house after a minute of chasing him. My heart was pounding 100 beats a second! If you do not hold the leash straight up and above the cat, it will loosen just make its way down his body. I had kneeled down so I could take a photo of him. I never did this on the first day of taking him out. Never ever again...looking for a new and more secure leash system before any more walks. Really hope I can get my money back for this leash.
