PetSafe Drinkwell Replacement Pump - Platinum Fountain

The pump appears to be as high in quality as the original in my Platinum fountain bought over 20 years ago, and is still running, but showing signs of wear. I bought the new pump for a quick replacement if and when the original fails. (The cats actually sit and wait for the fountain while I give it its weekly cleaning.)

Awesome replacement motor!!! It's so quiet I don't even notice the fountain is running. Great improvement over the other motor and it pumps the water in my large fountain without any problems. Thanks

My Drinkwell fountain has been working great for many years. I've had to replace the pump, but that's all. My cats have loved using it.

We have 3 cats, all who refuse to drink out of bowls. 1 wants sink water, and the other 2 want a clean, flushed toilet. Like I used to have to literally flush the toilet, then they'd hop up and drink. It was gross, but I was desperate for them to drink. Enter the fountain...EVERYBODY loves it. No more sink, no more toilet. I highly rec this, it's a bit of a bummer to clean, you have to take it all apart, but the fresh running water is great, it stays cool, and I broke both the pump and tank, which were both easily ordered and replaced. The replacement parts are key.

Our fountain stopped working and we discovered it was the pump motor. After cleaning it thoroughly, it began working again but by then I had ordered a new pump. So glad I did. We did our periodic cleaning of the whole fountain- Platinum - and the original pump failed again for good. Thankfully we already had a new one. We only use distilled water to keep minerals from building up and ruining the whole fountain. The entire process was quick and painless, to receive the new pump, and our fountain is as new again.

I've owned the Drinkwell fountain for 10 years. The fountain pump and, any other replacement part, that I've had to order has worked wonderfully. I think they are reasonably priced and arrive in a timely manner. I love this product and so do my kitties.

We've been using the Drinkwell Platinum pet water fountain for years. The wire where submerged constantly in water started to break down and flake away. I was amazed that I could find a replacement pump and did not have to replace the entire fountain at greater cost. Overall experience was as expected.

The replacement pump was different from the one that came with the fountain, so I was a little concerned about the vertical metal lever that (apparently) adjusts the water flow. However, everything fit together and works, and I am hoping that the change will make the pump input less likely to get congested with slime. It seems to be no worse, and it is running well.
