PetSafe Guardian GPS Dog Fence + Tracking, 3/4 Acre+, Subscription Required, Dogs 30 lbs+

I feel at ease knowing my puppy is safe if im not outdoors with her.

It's been about a 1 1/2 weeks since I got the PetSafe Guardian GPS collar with tracking and I have not been upset with it! Setup took me about 1 hour from unpacking it out of the box, to software updates, setting up my account, and drawing the fence. It went well. Syncing the collar when you make a change is as easy as pressing one button! (I saw numerous complaints about this but it's crazy easy!) I have a 2 year old foster Belgian Malinois which is very active, after setting up the the fence and walking through the initial training with him, he does not want to go close to the boundaries. My only small complaint is the same with any GPS based collar, fence drift (shifting one way or another due to gps inaccuracy.) But the drift is pretty minimal and it factored that into drawing my fence! I even cut out a section so he can't go near my chicken coop! I'm pretty happy with this! It's half the cost of the competition and it's keeping my new foster boy safe!

I actually use this collar to track/help keep my goats in our property. I bought this collar as a replacement for a Tractive gps collar because it offers correction when the animal crosses the boundary. I am so far very happy with its gps capabilities and ability to keep my herd in our property (because I only have one collar and 6 goats I had to rotate the collar to different goats at first so that they would all respond to the correction even if they weren't wearing the collar at the time). The only capability I miss from the previous Tractive tracker is that you were able to see the history/where the tracker has been throughout the day (also previous days/weeks). Overall I am very happy with this product so far.

This product works as listed. I really enjoyed the GPS service that it uses. I always know where my pet is on my property. You can also use it elsewhere. I highly recommend this product. Good value for the price.

These collars have worked amazing for what I need, they are not 100% accurate but they are not very far off and for them being a fraction on the cost of the other collars on the market they work great for what I need to keep my dogs on my 11 acres.

The tracking is nice but where I live it sometimes takes a few minutes to update. For the most part my dog will stay in the fence but when she crosses it, it doesn't seem like the static bothers her at all

When it works, it works great. When it doesn't, it doesn't. Mine works at perimeter fence but randomly “corrects” inside the property or inside my barn if my dog follows me in there. I think neither of those corrections should happen. According to the lady rep I spoke with, if you have rural property but have a big metal barn, then maybe this system is not for you. About the rep, I could be wrong but I got the impression that she was working from home and I was interrupting her from something.

I bought 2 units on Sept 5th and paid almost $400.00 for them. It has been less than a year and already one of them no longer works. It won't track anymore and app says it is always on the charger when it is actually on my dog. So, now I only have one unit and that one sometimes gets stuck stating it is on the charger also. But if I mess with it enough it will finally work. Also, the battery doesn't even last a full day. For the price I would not recommend this to anyone!

Not worth the money. I purchased two of these collars. Tried to connect the first one and it wouldn't connect. Still won't. Opened the second one. It connected ok. Used it on my 150 lb dog. I put it on every morning and take it off every night as instructed. I tried to use the shock function until I realized that it was frying my dog everytime she got near the house. She cannot get within 5 feet of the house. That is not how I have the fence setup. After one day of wearing using the shock feature, it let open wounds in her neck from frying her so often. Not because she was out of her boundary but because she was close to the house. We now use the vibration and even so it vibrates anytime she is near the house. Not sure why I'm even paying for the subscription because it does not work properly. Don't waste your money. Still have one collar that absolutely will not connect.

Would be a great product if it worked properly. The collars kept going off inside the house… thank god the shock feature didn't work! Would've thought I had just gotten a bad collar but I have 2 dogs and both collars malfunctioned constantly.
