good harness for safety in car. I already have one but needed a 2nd one. price is great. works good
Fit well easy to adjust.
I really like this to keep my dog safe in the car. I got size large and it fits my 70lb lab mix perfectly.
As described. Great value for the price. Works well.
I have an 8 month old rottweiler and it's just a little big for him but he'll grow into it. he looks very safe and extra cute wearing it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This harness is awesome. It is very secure. I appreciate the lead that it comes with because it can be used as a lead leash while walking to the car and then attached to the seatbelt when you're in the car. The harness itself is very secure and hugs my dog in all of the right places to keep her secure. I also like the loops that the carabiner hooks to being so big they can be used as handles too. My dog has a tendency to take off on me and I need as many ways to grab her (without hurting her) as possible.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had a seat belt type clip for our baby girls but it would not adjust enough to keep her from coming through the front seats and I worried her regular harness would not be comfortable for long rides. This Happy Ride Safety Harness is perfect. The medium is the perfect fit for our 1 year old Aussie/heeler mix. She weighs about 30 pounds. The padded breast plate seems that it would be much more comfortable and the seat belt straps work perfectly. Though we prefer to use the provided strap and clip to give her a bit more freedom in the seat. Ordering a second for our little girls brother. The materials are great quality and constructed good.
Fits good and I am happy I can keep my dog safe while driving... [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I wanted a harness that he could wear all the time, but would have the ability to connect to the seat belt in the car. Changing harnesses all the time is inconvenient. He weighs right around 25 lb. so he was too big for the small, and in need to make the medium as small as possible, which leaves long excess straps. I tried cutting them, and they fray. The hooks that attach to the seat belt stand straight up, when not in use, and look weird as an everyday harness. But it is reassuring to have some safety measure in place.
I set up everything according to the instructions, took a test ride, and my small Shih-Tzu mix tolerated the harness well. However, when we got home -- garage door still open -- I clipped his leash onto the harness' D-ring as advertised, and the harness fell apart. The smallest nylon strap connects one end of the snap-together clip and the D-ring to the rest of the harness, with only a single row of stitching -- the point at which the most stress would occur in case of an accident. Fortunately, my dog came straight back to me and did not run, although he is prone to do so. Lesson learned: look for the weakest link at what should be the strongest point. Lazy corner-cutting, definitely! The slightest stress and the buckle would have separated. No protection at all. This is going back to the store!
