PetSafe Outdoor Dog Bark Control, Ultrasonic Correction, 1/4-Acre Coverage, Weatherproof

This product promotes no barking, however, it did not stop one dog walking our fence line or even our own dogs from barking back, the bark fest continues. Trying to find a project that actually does what it says, stops all barking.

I bought this to help with neighbors excessive and loud dog barking. This didn't help at all. Like , not even a little. I bought a 9 volt battery and put a post in the backyard to hang and everything. Didn't help in the slightest. Only thing that it did was the green light kept flashing. So the battery worked but this thing did absolutely nothing. Don't waste your money. Money is already tight these days. Look elsewhere. This is an absolute rip off.

I really wanted this product to work for our neighbors dogs constant barking but it did nothing. I followed the instructions but it seems like the 50 foot radius it claims to have isn't accurate. I tried it with my own dogs standing really close to it barking and it did make a high pitched tone.

This item does not work!! I bought this item, because new neighbors moved in with 3 large dogs. I have 2 cocker's myself. Well, didn't have a problem before, but now my dogs, and the neighbor dogs are very vicious to each other!! I thought this might help, but NO!! Have tried all settings, and nothing works, for my or neighbors dogs!! Complete waste of time and money!!!

Completely useless waste of money. Tested it, verified it works. Tried every setting over the course of 3 days. Arguably made the dog bark more having it In front of its face. Find something that actually works, this isn't it. Not sure how it is the #1 recommended deterrent on Google and through a.i. Must have an incredible marketing team.

This thing is a total waste of money. it eats through batteries yet does not deter any dogs.

We bought this product a few weeks ago and the product has yet to function even after we followed all the directions. The batteries were not lasting at all. They would drain within a day or two and eventually would turn off. We troubleshot but had no luck. We have a midsize German shepherd and the dog is immune to this product's effectiveness. Highly recommend not purchasing this product and most likely using a vibrating collar device instead if that's the intent to prevent barking. Overall, I am unhappy with the purchase.

Aaaaahhh...peace, quiet. We have a 19 month old German Shepherd - a big dog (100 lbs +) - who is a powerful animal with a powerful bark. He turned into a "barker" at about a year old, and the situation got steadily worse until two weeks ago; when we installed our Outdoor Ultrasonic Bark Control. He barked at everything, people on the street, birds, trees, neighbors, neighbors dogs, his toys, you name it. Now he is quiet; the only exceptions are when something really, really important needs to be barked at. Even then, his barking is brief. We certainly hope that the product significantly outlasts its warranty, if it does then, for us, it's FIVE STARS all the way!

I have two dogs, an Australian cattle dog and a flat coated retriever. The ACD's barking was becoming problematic due to our yard bordering an alley and children riding bikes and saying hi as they ride. She got to the point of barking at everything and neighbors were getting annoyed. She doesn't like the sound it makes and has learned she can run the fence with the kids but don't bark. She still will bark if someone or something comes up to the fence which I feel is totally appropriate. The retriever could careless about the sound though, luckily he is not the problem child. So like anything it depends totally on the dog and what they find offensive.

This Bark Deterrent is amazing! We have 2 dogs that bark when they cannot see us or when other people walk by. We just bought a trailer in a camp ground and were afraid our dogs would bark too much. We were planning to try bark collars but when I found this at Walmart I decided to give it a try. I was skeptical because we had 2 dogs and the neighboring camp had 2 dogs who also bark. First time our dogs barked, they looked shocked like a loud boom had gone off. They looked at the bird house (deterrent). Second time they barked they again looked at the bird house. That was it. They knew where the sound was comming from and that their barking set it off. No more barking after that. I thought for sure it would take them a day or two to figure it out. My neighbor asked to borrow it to see if it worked on their dogs. After the second bark, one dog did not bark again until the next day. The other dog was deaf so it had no affect on him (product does say it will not work on hearing impaired or def dogs). This product works so well we took it home and used it there as well. When we first put the dogs out, we did not set up the deterrent. Our dogs barked as usual. As soon as they saw me bringing the deterrent outside, the barking stopped (just seeing it makes them stop). We plan to buy a second one so we do not have to take it back and forth to camp.
