I love this patio potty. you have to use the Pet loo pee pods and you have to clean it with simple, green pet food or eliminator at least once a week

I have a dog sitter that checks in on my doggies 3 to 4 times a day when I'm on the road to see family, however, one of my furry friends has a leaky bladder and sometimes needs to go during odd times of the day, if you know what I mean. I bought this for my 8 week old French Bulldog and it has been a fantastic addition. We live in the city and were cautioned against taking him to public areas for potty breaks until he has completed his vaccinations. We keep the potty loo on our back deck and he goes right up to the slide door when he is ready to use it. He has used it consistently since the first night we brought it home for both #1 and #2, with very few indoor accidents since then. It may help that the breeder started setting the puppies on grass to potty around 7 weeks of age. We use the Wee powder and trays provided, and wash it with dish soap and water once a week. We also splurged for the K9 Grass as suggested by another customer and don't have any complaints related to smells.

My little dog uses the pet loo pee pee pad on the balcony if it's the middle of the night or if she needs to go urgently. I integrate it within a decorated balcony with plants, table and chairs, and fountain. I wanted to refresh the grass and bought the replacement bundle. It is good but came rolled and it doesn't seem to want to lay flat...yet. I'm sure it will get there. This grass seems a little different too, but she still uses it.

I have used this product for 6 years now. I dont put any products on the mat or in the disposable trays while set up for my dogs to use as we are very conscious about our waste. I change the mats every couple of days, empty the pod whenever there is pee in it and rinse. The mat, tray and pod I rinse off, then spray vinegar on them and let that sit. Then I spray a lite mix of he washing detergent and water. This I rinse off and let the pod, tray and mat dry. There is minimal fraying still after 6 years but now the mats definitely need replacing. And so I have ordered more.... sometimes, though, I wish there was a pee guard for my male dog who often misjudges his throwing distance.

It will do what its advertised to do but it falls short in a few areas. -The 'catcher' bin is way too small for large dogs and requires replacing after every use. I am surprised that the bin size does not change when you order a larger size especially since they can easily manufacture a larger bin to utilize the empty space underneath the frame. I was expecting to clean out the bin every day but not every time my dog uses it.

The grass wont stay in place (my 11 lb dog can slide it all the way off) and the whole unit is so high off the ground that my dog puts his two front paws up on it and then pees on the side of it. I have to clean and mop everything, the bottom of the unit, the sides and top, floor. Maybe it's him or the way I train him, but I'm giving it away because of the urine mess and smells. I've had it for about 4 weeks.

Clips don't hold the turf in place. They aren't big enough to grab and hold. Turf isn't strong enough.

Moved from Texas to Michigan and thought this would be perfect for my English bulldog to use in the garage when the weather is bad but he will not go near it and yes I tried all the stuff advertised with it but he is not having it and I am out in the cold and out of the $$ I spent.
