I love this box! I switched to this from the CatGenie AI and it's fantastic. It's so much quieter, not loud at all. My cats have had no issue adjusting. It is quite large though. The inside space is about the same as a standard litter box, but the sides are what makes it large.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have an older cat who as she ages needs to urinate more, which meant more litter box cleaning. This solves the multiple scooping needed daily. This is a super simple setup only needing to be by an electrical outlet. The sensor detects the cats entrance and exit and allows amble time before activating the rake to not scare her. The rake removes all clumped litter and solid waste into storage bin underneath which I do empty every other day. It is pretty quiet when running so another bonus of not scaring a skittish cat.

It only took a couple minutes to set it up - and no having to connect anything to WiFi, so it was super simple. I also cleaned it for the first time last week and was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to dump the waste out of the waste bin into a trash bag - there wasn't any residue left in the bin. There was a bit of spilled litter on the floor between the waste bin and outer pan, but it only took a minute to vacuum this up. I periodically refill the litter to keep it at the correct level, and check the waste bin once a week for two cats, and the self cleaning really does cut down on the amount of time spent cleaning the box. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Setting up was super easy, simply fill with litter and plug in. The button turns solid blue when powered on, it blinks while running. After my cat uses, a 10 minute internal timer starts, then the rake goes. The waste bin door will raise, then lower back down after rake dumps clumps. Bin is a simple drawer so cleaning is very easy. It rakes middle clumps very well, but if your cat uses the corners like mine, you'll have to hand scoop still. That's my cats preference, so not the fault of the litter box. My only complaint is that it's super loud and takes several minutes to clean. Wakes us up at night so I've started unplugging before bed. Overall though, I recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There can be several challenges of maintaining a standard regular litterbox daily, especially if you have multiple furbabies and a busy lifestyle. Naturally, with 4 adult cats, I was excited when discovering the opportunity to try the PetSafe - ScoopFree Clumping Self-Cleaning Litter Box. This was my first time trying an electric self-cleaning litterbox such as this one, and it was super easy to set up, use with the step by step instructions, only needed clump free litter added, and to be plugged up to an electrical outlet. The clips on the back of the litter box were helpful to secure the power adapter cable, as well. After set up, my curious furbabies took to it immediately, which was an easy transition! This litterbox has an impressive innovative modern design and is definitely larger than I initially thought it would have been, which could be a problem if it no longer fits where it used to, but has provided plenty more room to accommodate my furbabies to safely do their thing. I have since noticed, it definitely reduces odor tremendously to a minimum compared to their old standard regular litterbox with the automatic raking system and dumping the waste in the covered waste bin about 10 minutes after the sensors detect my cats movement. Plus, it provides a rake button which manually allows you to initiate a cleaning cycle whenever needed to help, as well. However, it really helps clean up most of the mess and work, but unfortunately the rake ends up dumping plenty of clean litter in the waste bin along with the solid clumps. Therefore, in order to preserve most of the clean litter, I have to manually rake the solid clumped litter out. Leaving me guessing if it's due to the brand of clumping clay litter used. I also notice, waste gets stuck on the rake often, which makes it more difficult to clean, but can be done easily, since the parts are all removable, when needed. Overall, my cats really enjoy it & I prefer it to a standard regular cat litterbox. The reusable tray is also nice along with the reduced odor and leaves less mess on the floor.

We just purchased this box for our 2 cats..not happy with the grater. It's way to wide and always having to clean behind it . Seems to be a struggle for it when it's grating .. as well

I bought this February 2025 it is now 12/5/2025 and it has had multiple problems since I’ve had it! The rake stops and will not continue and I’ve had to take it apart multiple times. I’ve called for support no one ever calls back! I have to clean more for the lack of it not working properly. It doesn’t matter what litter or how many times I’ve cleaned it, it squeals and the rake stops. Do not recommend wasting money on this!

Clumps on rake breaks them up makes urine smell really bad. Supposed to push it into end drawer, because it’s been broken up by rake in little balls not much makes it to drawer. Little balls now no longer covered because rake broke them up so odor is bad. I used litter that is recommended. Sent it back more trouble then it’s worth
