Birdie smoothe

Raymond March 11, 2026

Great for keeping my egg layer comfy the coupe was easy to assemble and the way it's built makes me feel like it's going to last a while. Savings well saved.

Very happy chickens.

Nina April 15, 2024

I love the look and its very sturdy; assembly was as expected, not the greatest, but very pleased with my purchase. So, in fact , I'm buying another one.

Petscosset Chicken Coop

Judy June 20, 2026

I'm a 68 years old woman and putting this thing together is easy with just a phillips screwdriver. It's on the smaller size so wouldn't fit more than 2-3 regular size chickens. It's perfect for my 5 silkies that I plan to put into it. You'll want to put it in a protected space as it is not very strongly built. I do plan to buy at least one more now that I'm familiar with how it will go together.

Overall Good starter coop

Mikayla April 7, 2024

very easy to put together, I recommend having a second person just to hold pieces in place while you drill stuff together the design is cute and the inside coop itself is large =if your not building a larger run (screen part) I don’t recommend anymore than 2 chickens for this, I currently have 1 bantam and 1 normal sized chicken in mine and they are a bit tight in there = getting a large feeder/waterer into the lower part below the coop is a trick but if your just using the little ones you’ll be ok - the main reason for missing a star is that it was missing a bag of screws (I believe it was bag “i” that I was missing) so I went out and just bought some screws - I’d recommend building some type of structure around this to avoid predators at night just to be safe (hence why we have temporarily bricks surrounding ours just in case) Overall it’s not a bad starter coop if your wanting to just keep 1-2 in itself without any additions, if it had come with all its pieces it would’ve gotten 5 stars. Some of pieces of woods did have minor damage but it’s not fancy wood and it’s getting shipped so it’s expected to have a few minor scrapes and warps to it.

Would not buy again

Dana May 9, 2026

The coop was really easy to assemble. The first half of the coop was ok quality, the second half was not good. The wood was chipped and splintered. The tray had a huge split in the wood because someone had over tightened the screw during assembly. The coop is also VERY light, it has no weight to it all. We are going to have to find a way to anchor it, otherwise it will fly away.

waste of money

rebecca March 23, 2026

so this is super cheap wood wont last long outside especially after getting wet. pieces of the wall frame were split when they were putting screws in to hold the sides together this was definitely a waste of my money but i just put this all together n i have a bunny that i neef to put in there. so im stuck with this junk

Not my favorite

RB021 July 11, 2025

Some holes are started but not all, so will def need a drill. Can't connect nesting box lid because it's short and will leave a gap which I don't think it's supposed to. Not the greatest quality either. We only have two pullets right now , I can't imagine fitting more than maybe one more, especially once they are full grown . I wouldn't buy again

Very fragile

Khenna March 25, 2026

Assembly did not take long. The quality is not great. I would not recommend to keep outdoors uncovered. It's also very fragile. All we did was pick it up to move it and the ramp going from outside to inside the coop broke. The roof also crumbles a lot.

Flimsy wood

Jane March 22, 2026

This item is made of very flimsy wood. Some pieces were received damaged. Additionally, the item was not packaged well, causing wooden pieces to break.

Severe alignment problems - not a finished product

anonymous February 18, 2025

I thought this would be an OK product for the price, but it was way worse than I expected. There are two major problems: First, the quality of the material is very light. The wood is very flimsy and prone to splintering from screwing this screws too hard. I do not expect the material itself to last more than one rainy season and am thinking about returning this. I'm expecting to need a new unit after one year. The second equally big problem is that drill holes on the parts are not lined up. This prevents the pieces from fitting together properly. Looking at the pictures, you will see that the metal hinge is drilled too far down that is too far to attach to the wall. The latch. is misaligned and does not close. The side walls, when attached according to instructions, have a gap big enough for rats to crawl under and potentially get to the chickens. The roof does not line up, causing the ridge not to fit over the roof. I cannot recommend this product at all. In order for this to be functional, you would have to drill new alignment holes. The material is so light, it will not last, so it is not worth that work. You're better off getting a higher quality product or building your own. Do not buy this!
