I installed this Pfister Pfirst Series 1-Handle Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet as one of the finishing touches on our kitchen renovation. While I do have plumbing skills and plenty of experience, I can say that this faucet can be installed by anybody. It was as simple as it gets. The instructions were clear and easy to understand. The only thing I recommend is using an adjustable wrench to save yourself the aggravation. The faucet itself is made of high quality materials and has a sleek and modern design. I really like the pull-down spray head. It has a spray and stream mode to select from. My wife really likes the high spout because it's easier to maneuver her favorite giant pots underneath. Happy wife, happy life.
The Pfirst Series 1-Handle Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet is a great finishing touch in my kitchen. We've been slowly but surely remodeling our home. The wife's been wanting a new faucet for a while now and glad we waited for this. Overall, I am very happy with the faucet. I could have saved myself a ton of screaming and time had I have bought two new supply lines to install the faucet to begin with. So, if you are installing this yourself ... be SURE to purchase two new supply lines. I also had an older faucet and therefore had four holes in my sink (3 for the faucet and 1 for the sprayer). Once I came home with the new supply lines and a new stop, installation was a breeze; but not until then. Fitting underneath a sink and getting wrenches back there - around the garbage disposal was challenging and I do not look forward to ever doing that again. I installed the faucet in the second hole and put hole covers to the left and to the right and the far right hole, I installed a soap dispenser. The style and look is very modern and trendy. It really is a focal point in my kitchen at the moment. The pull-down sprayer works perfectly - there are buttons on it to stop and to spray and it just clicks back into place. The handle takes a minute to get used to since you pull it out to turn it on and up and down for hot and cold but it's a great design. Since the faucet is tall it does not get in the way of the sink, my sink seems to be 10 times larger. I am happy with it, no complaints and would recommend.
I got this for my new kitchen remodel and let me tell you it really gives your sink that updated look! I love the overall aesthetic it gives off. The taller spout makes it much easier to wash bigger items like stock pots or when I need to wash the fridge shelves. I love the removable sprayer, making it much more convenient to spray off dirty dishes and to rinse deeper pots. Now on to the installation process; I am quite the handy man as some say, but even so I believe a first time DIYer could get the job done easily. The instructions were clear enough for a beginner! I am pleased and have already recommended it to my brother for his new home!!
It is a great looking faucet and very stylish. It was very easy to install since it comes with very clear instructions. I have it installed on a one hole sink with a granite countertop and it fit perfectly with no issues. I love the fact that it is high which gives you enough space to rinse large items. Also the pull down feature is wonderful because you can pull it and use the spray anywhere where it is needed. The stream mode is also very good. I, personally, like the stream mode when i am doing dishes. It is very good to have both features. Also you are able to move the faucet which also works wonderfully with a double sink since you are able to move from sink to sink without having to use the pull down and having both hands free. The on and off handle is also very light and easy to turn with functions to open and close and also the cold and hot water selection. We are very happy with this faucet and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for new or replacement faucets.
Faucet is a year old, now spray buttons are sticking in spray position.
Love the style of this faucet and it's going to look nice when my new farmhouse stainless steel sink arrives. My faucet arrived two weeks before my new sink, but I'm going to love using it. Its a shiny polished chrome. The sprayer pulls down from the bottom of the faucet. I have two kitchens in my home and it's being installed in the main ground level kitchen that most of us in the house use. If your experienced doing faucet installs then I can tell you it's going to be easy to install after looking at the instructions.
This faucet is a leaking and I'm not sure where. The plumbers can't figure it out. I think it is from the sprayer hose but that can't be changed. I tried contacting the company through the online form but it too is broken. It won't process because everytime I submit it there is a new problem. The final problem was it wanting me to select a state although my correct state was selected. So after all that and writing what the problem was the form never went through!!! Needless to say, I'm going to be searching for a faucet that will last longer than 2 years! And if something goes wrong it can be found and fixed!!!
I could have written the exact same review as "Not a Pfister fan." Our faucet was installed by the builder 2 years ago. The button to turn ON the sprayer works fine, but then it won't switch back to stream. We can *sometimes* get it to go back to stream by repeatedly turning the faucet on and off. The sprayer also does not stay seated in the faucet very well. It would be better if it had a magnetic catch, but it does not. We are shopping for a new faucet. It won't be a Pfister.
Like others have pointed out, buttons on the spray head will quickly (~6 months) begin to stick causing the faucet to be stuck on spray. This was installed by the builder. It is fairly easy to take apart the head for a temporary fix but the problem will return as it seems to be related to a very flimsy looking spring (stretch out the spring to return normal function for a while). It's a shame because when it's working it's a nice faucet.
Ditto on both preceding reviews. My faucet does the same exact thing and was also installed by a builder in WA. It worked properly for about 6 months when the non-spray function stopped working so I had the Builder replace it; within just a few months it happened again. My neighbor has had the same problem.
