Trying to be a little more environmentally friendly, I have been looking for an alternative to plastic straws. Most paper straws start disintegrating before the drink is done. These compostable straws are environmentally friendly, but last through their usage period. A little more costly, but a great alternative.

Low quality, rips easily

Moo January 28, 2026

I really want to like these straws, but the quality really has room for improvement. Almost every time I extend the bendy part of a straw a vertical cut is made, and the straw is then useless. I tried doing it slow and gently and it would still happen on 90% of straws. They work fine if you don't extend them. Maybe I just got a bad batch, I don't know, but it's a real shame because I love the idea of sustainable straws and would've loved to buy more.

well honestly I was disappointed in the quality of these straws I got these because they were inexpensive and I could afford them on a tight budget... well the saying better you get what you pay for and inexpensive as they were they're very cheaply made but it's still straw

I once loved these

Cbordes1 April 13, 2026

Last year I discovered these straws and fell in love with them. I ordered 2 more boxes again, but every single straw in the stow boxes are cracked and unusable. It’s as though they’re breaking down prematurely. I’m so disappointed because I really liked them.

these straws are too brittle. if you touch the bend part the wrong way you have an instant hole and then it's useless. only way to use these are upside down bendy part in the drink so you don't accidentally mess it up. I feel like this shouldn't even be allowed to be sold.

Absolutely NOT.

If you have money to waste, buy these. I should've read the 1 star reviews and I would've known these straws weren't worth buying. Each one has a hole in them. I spent my last $5 until payday to get these straws, and I had to keep taking another out of the box. Worthless straws.

Worthless

Scout September 4, 2025

The straws are brittle %26 crack. A large majority of them have cracked during use , rendering them useless. They are advertised as compostable %26 “better for the environment “ , but we have had to use 3 times as many

This product is not good for anyone who isn't able to suck hard on a straw, was unable to get anything from the several that were tried, very disappointed.

Unless you wanna suck air, don't buy these.

Nicole March 3, 2026

Holes is nearly every straw I've tried out of the box so far.. especially if you bend it. The whole point of a straw is to drink liquid through it, not suck air. You're not even doing the bare minimum of the product's purpose.. like really? Great concept, material feel like plastic, but the holes or whatever is going with the straws... you've lost my trust.

I bought two boxes of these and 95% of these has a hole in the flexible part, love the idea and have bought compostable straws off amazon that were amazing and I will continue to buy from them
