its not the product itself, but my toilet had the plastic wing nuts, they didn't fit as far as turning the nuts to release the toilet seat. Other than that installation was easy and didn't require any tools . The front use function is awesome for the women using this, the rear spray is ...on the bullseye for sure (pun intended) I have had to adjust the water pressure as sometimes it seems to vary. Not sure if thats my plumbing or the bidet. Either way it works great, and the cold water isn't an issue but I was concerned about that. It's not a problem it's comfortable and refreshing and I feel cleaner tha using just TP. I use family cloth not TP to pat dry. For that time of the month it's great for women and more hygienic . I recommend this product, It's a great product for a great price and even slips out of the housing so you can clean the entire toilet and the bidet itself .

It works just fine, but the issue I have is the water always escapes on all sides through the gap between the toilet and seat. It’s not very clean to have toilet water being sprayed out of the sides of the toilet with every use all over my floor. Unfortunately, I think this will be an issue no matter what bidet I bought. I even bought pee splash guards hoping to solve the issue. It helped some, but some water still escaped and now I have pee covered plastic guards that always need cleaning. Just something to consider when buying.
