Phase 10 Doesn't Phase Us

CLMJ July 24, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Phase 10 Tiles is a fun game to play. My family has never played before. We started with the classic rules. It did take us a few to read through the directions, but that didn't discourage us. The blue rack (for others not to be able to see your tiles) is very useful. The wild tiles help fill in the gaps of what you need on the phase you are on. The skip tiles add a little twist to the game by providing an opportunity to change someone's flow of their game. There is also a quick play version if you are short on time. We have already played 4 times in the last week. It is now our go-to family game!

Fun twist on a classic game!

Sarah37 August 4, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fun twist on a classic game! My kids (ages 12 and 8) enjoyed playing this as there is several different ways to play this game. The game it self comes packed nice and neat in a small box that makes it easy to store.

Phase 10 Tiles

SamW August 7, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Phase 10 tiles took a few times playing to get it down. Its a little harder for my 9yr old daughter to play she definitely needed help. Great family game once you get it down. Overall one of our favorites.

Great game

CourtK August 11, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a fun game even though it takes a little getting used to the rules. You must really pay attention, but it does go quickly especially if someone keeps getting the phases in a row. The tiles are well made and the cards are also well made so that they do not bend easily when shuffling them. My older children liked it more than my ones under 8 years old. It was lots of family fun and brought out our competitive side to see who would complete all the phases first.

Good game for older kids

Belm11 August 4, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great game for older kids for family game night or for adults at social gatherings. My ten year old loves to play this, while it is a little challenging for my seven year old. It is a great way to get their math skills going and can get pretty competitive!

Hours and hours of fun

ChristyLRP August 12, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family loves this game and played it for hours and hours! This rummy-type game comes neatly packaged in a small box with 106 tiles, 56 cards, 4 tile racks, and instructions/rules (in English only) for both a Quick Play version and a Classic Play version. The Quick Play version uses all of the tiles, 32 Phase Cards, 5 Scoring Cards per player and a tile rack for each player. This version (my family's favorite) moves quickly and is great for younger players with a shorter attention span. The Classic Play version uses all of the tiles, a Phase Reference Card per player, 5 Scoring Cards per player and a tile rack for each player. This version is for longer play and better for adults with a longer attention span. This game is includes special graphic symbols on the cards and tiles to aid colorblind players when playing this game. I love that this game fits easily back into the box without having to stack the tiles in neatly. This game is 2-4 players and recommended for ages 7+. My 6-year-old was able to play with assistance.

Fun variation of the Phase 10 game

Brittany August 3, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had played the Phase 10 card game a lot so we decided to give this tile version a try. I like the tile aspect and the racks that hold them together. It is similar to the card game. If you've never played, it may be a little difficult to learn and play at first. There are game play cards that can switch up what hand you're trying to make. The instructions have a classic and faster variation. This is the color blind edition, which I love!! The tiles have a different symbol for each color, which is an easy touch to add to ensure everyone can play. Great game.

Not worth it

Jan July 3, 2026

The game was cheaply made. The tiles felt very thin. The rules were confusing. There was no bag for the tiles as the one they came in was sealed, and you had to tear it open. Thus it would be easy to lose tiles in the storage. We thought this would be similar to the card game and while it is somewhat, it is also a bit different and it is difficult. There were two different sets of rules and both contradicted each other.

Fun for adults, a bit frustrating for younger kids

LadilikeCJ August 8, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family had never played phase 10 before so there was a bit of a learning curve as we got off to a slow start making sure we understood all the rules and breaking down the rules to my 7 year old. It took a few rounds for my 7 year old to get the hang of making a phase, then she got frustrated as other people moved on as she got stuck on a phase, and eventually she lost interest in the game. The adults enjoyed the game and had fun strategizing how to play, but felt the classic play took too long to play.
