Travolta hits a home run
If you want a truly heartwarming picture, watch this movie. Over the years , I've watched this movie several times . Travolta does a wonderful job with this script , and frankly , given some of his earlier movies , I was pleasantly surprised. I won't spoil the ending , let's just say it was unexpected.

Phenomenon
A pretty old movie, but a really good one in my opinion. John Travolta did a real good job in this movie as a mechanic and a tinker in a small town in California. He is secretly in love with a new lady in town and does whatever he can to get her interest; haven't we all. On his birthday he experiences a bright light that comes from the heavens, and is a changed man. He suddenly becomes an expert at most everything, including decrypting apparently enciphered signals over the air coming from a military installation.. Gets in trouble and such and the town turns against him. I won't disturb the ending, but is is an enjoyable movie that has almost no foul language, or maybe none, as I recall. I would recommend it to anyone that likes a movie that makes you feel good, sad, mad, and good again.
