I am not always a brand name enthusiast, but have recently begun making my own cheesecakes. When making those, I discovered there is NO substitute for this brand. Creamy, delicious, and perfect texture when cooking at home. Don't accept anything less.

After many years of going cheap and buying the off brands, I finally had to buy Philadelphia because the store brand was out. The difference in my baking was phenomenal. It just has a better flavor and texture all around. IT OSS tangier and more dense, making a much better cheesecake. It is absolutely worth the difference in price.

Philadelphia cream cheese is the best cream cheese. I have been eating it since I was a little girl. I love it on Ritz crackers, bagels, no bake cheese cake. I have tasted other cream cheeses at different gatherings I have been to and they were terrible, one bite was all it took for me to throw it away.

Philadelphia Cream Cheese is a staple in my refrigerator because there are so many ways to use it. One of my favorite recipes is chicken enchiladas with a creamy cream cheese sauce, and it adds the perfect rich, smooth texture and flavor every time. It blends easily into sauces, dips, soups, and baked dishes without becoming grainy. The two 8 oz blocks are convenient to keep on hand, and I've found they stay fresh for quite a while when stored properly. The quality is consistently excellent, making it a product I reach for again and again when cooking and baking.

This score is NOT a reflection of the product (Philly cream cheese has always been delicious), but the score reflects Walmart’s processes for storage and delivery of refrigerated and frozen foods. During the past few months, many cold products have arrived less than cold, frozen has begun to defrost, and ice cream is like soup. But this is the worse negligence in that at some point/points in time, this 2pack of cream cheese had to have been left unrefrigerated for a significant amount of time. I brought the delivery promptly inside when it was delivered on 10/12/25. I was looking forward to enjoying some on one of the cranberry English muffins which I had ordered the day before (when the cream cheese had been unavailable). The cream cheese looked and smelled fine, but as soon as I tasted it, I knew that it was sour (kind of gross). If you received this item after the restock on 10/12/25, do a taste check right away. Walmart should also taste check the cream cheese in the super store from which I ordered, and remove it from their refrigerator at once (and please do not raise the price to maintain your profits). Walmart should have people in charge of keeping track of incoming stock and out going deliveries; they charge enough for things that people should be able to buy with confidence. A note to Philadelphia Brand - I have enjoyed your product since I was about four years old and my Mom made cream cheese and jam on Ritz crackers; thank you for the memories.

Getting tired of getting damaged product in my curbside orders then being expected to bring product back into store to get my refund. There's a reason that I do curbside order…. Because I don't want to walk into the store and deal with all of the idiot customers….. but Walmart doesn't care about giving customers damaged product.

Just picked up from curbside, 8 minute ride home with items inside an insulated bag. Opened the first block and slicing it for making dip…moldy! Checked the second block, also moldy! It's not even a recent expiration date…thankfully I was able to do the refund online without a hassle or trip back to the store.

I'm beyond disappointed with this order! I ordered 2 cans of chicken. They didn't arrive with the order. They were to be delivered later. On June 12, I received a message they'd been delivered. I was home and nothing was delivered. I also have ring security cameras to prove no one came to my house. I immediately called the local store. They told me they couldn't do anything but gave me another number. I called that number. They said I had to do it online. I went to the order and tried to cancel the chicken. It wouldn't allow me to do that either. It said I couldn't get a refund until I returned the chicken!! I can't return something that never arrived. I can no longer place orders for delivery as I have no confidence I will actually receive anything.
