so make sureee the sensor (square metal thing with holes) is not covered with lava rocks or glass bc it will not stay running. and blow on it so that any dusty or glass particals arent on the sensor etc. I was very stressed out for a bit because it would not work or would not stay on and then I moved the glass away to try to figure out what was going on and I turned it on and it started running and I figured out that the sensor does not like to be covered.

Well I'm hoping my good reviews will be helpful when I actually open this up and put it together, don't need it till next fall, was 1/2 price, so I took advantage of that.

Awesome addition to my new patio! Assembly was quick and stress free. Directions were clear and easy to follow. I regret not buying an additional one when item was on sale. I will definitely keep an eye out for another sale.

I bought this product for my daughter and family in Detroit MI. I know how the winters are in Detroit and I knew it probably wouldn't help "much." My daughter told me that it's really good and it works well even in Detroit!

I am very pleased with this purchase. It came delivered quickly and the set up took about 30 minutes. It comes with lava rocks, but we replaced those with fire glass and it looks amazing! The size is perfect for our back porch and keeps it much warmer for chilly evenings. We were able to set up 6 chairs around it and it makes for a great experience. It takes a standard 20 pound propane tank, which was also easy to set up. It's definitely worth the money and I would recommend it to anyone. Plus, it has a cover so it can be used as a table when not in use. The area around the fire itself is enough to put a drink on it and not get hot. Trust me, it's a game changer for the back porch. We absolutely love it!!

This is a great product for the e money, love the battery powered starter as you can install new batteries when needed!

A little disappointed in it. They said this thing's normally $429 and if I paid that much, I would send it right back as I doubt if it would ever sell that much. I wondered if it's how they got me to buy it. one reason I bought it. I thought I was getting a really good deal on a normally high end product as it was on more than half off. I thought I was getting a higher end product based on that fact. I think it's kind of deceptive. I'm not excited about that. I thought about it after the fact. To be honest, I would have had preferred one with a stone top. And one of the panels is got a crack in it. Where the bolt goes in, I put the bolts in just as they said, do it loosely, but I didn't notice this split on the panel till I went to put in the the last panel screw so practically all together. So my little concerned about the quality of this item. I thought it might be better quality. If it supposedly was worth $429, I think it's just a scam as far as the pricing went but I'm gonna try and see what happens. As i was putting it together, on the last panel of course, when as i went to put in the last screw, I noticed the metal is split. The turn knob is cheap looking. It is just a piece of plastic. So then again, I think it's a piece of garbage where you turn it on the knob could turn it on. It's just thick plastic. It looks like it could break someday, not saying today tomorrow, but no way is it worth $429. I paid $179 but after I ordered it, I thought about that. I said I bet you they're faking me out that it's really or was $429. And then they marked it down $229 to make it look like a really good deal, which I was a sucker, for that one and the quality of this. Item was disappointing. There's no way I would have paid $429 for this product you fit actually was listed at that price. The lava rocks are okay, but I think the pebbles are better, prettier. By the way, it is severely hard to write these reviews when you go to go back and correct. And reread it, it's a nightmare.So excuse any, miss quotes in my description. in the photo it is hard to see where that split is in the Meadow. Where the screw goes in. That is a picture of the knob that turns the mechanism on it's just real cheap plastic. Metal it would be much better and last longer. just as I note, I didn't realize at the top is metal or not. Think about this. But I bet I get scratched up with plates on there and dishes warm, and you use it for dining. Maybe I can't say yet. I haven't done that yet. However, I wished it was a stone top. I like the stone much better.

All I can do is give one star because of course it was supposed to be delivered by 9 PM today but now there's a delay. Amazing how this can happen almost every order. I will consider new review when and if it arrives.
